Btw, I asked the group that does Tokiwa about their progress. They are pretty busy with their other reales and haven't had time to do chapter 10 or DEM III yet.

I found a mistake I made in chapter 18. Here's a fixed version.
And I tried my hand at chapter 10. Colloquial speech, ideoms and that talk about sorcery are a nightmare to translate. Please treat this translation with caution. link

All I could think of when I saw Rein fight: "Oh, Shizuha, nice to see you again. I assume you were reborn as superhuman internet being."
I'm dissapointed the technological enemy organization is named Enigma. I thought he'd go for Ouroboros. But Matsuena can still name the evil sorcerer association Ouroboros. (if there is one)

Color me surprised. Mangastream published the second prologue today. I thought they had dropped everything after that one reply I got from them where they told me editing this manga is too much work.

Mangastream does not put out much content in as much bulk as some of the othersites do. Mangapanda has had a lot of pages that would not load which is strange since thats the reason I use there site. Anyway thanks for pointing this out, this explains a lot about sorcery. However we don't get much insight into our ninja friend as we do the other characters for some reason. Perhaps its a self explanitory trope that will explain things as the plot develops, or are his powers connected to the eye of judgment in anyway. I look forward to how science and Magic will coerelate as Mr.Mat seems to be on the path of disconnection and what I asume with Machine god is a combined logic that will be developed in the future.

It's just that they haven't released anything Matsuena for about 6 months, didn't answer to questions about this series and the few things they said about sounded like they had dropped it. Let's see when they'll publish DEM III. In the comments to Haruka one of the mods even said they might pick up Tokiwa somewhere in the future. I don't know why they changed their minds, but so be it.
I guess ninja magic really is self explanitory? Ot it's so secret that he can't tell us mere mortals. You see him use his tricks and explain about the monsters he encounters, but there not much about his skills to be found out. Maybe I have to read more ninja stories.
In any case I don't think ninja magic and sorcery/the eye of judgement are related in any way. Otherwise Kanata would not be so confused by Haruka's sorcery.

I would not be surprised if they are fighting similar forces and are part of similar organizations that do the same thing but are not related. After all Aria did do a weird thing after Kanata cuts someones soul in half right, so something must have happened.

Oh yea. Hmmm, maybe they all have their own unrelated* fields of battle kinda like classes in a game. At a certain level they are explainable by some kind of logic(though I asume magic ignores logic I guess with exploding currency and wire men and the eye thing). That would explain the point that Mr.Mat is making, the formation of ginyu squad. Thats exactly what they are doing, and Tokiwa will be the strategic dude, Dem III will be the inventive guy, Ninja dude will be ninja dude guy, and Sorcerer will be logic deceiving plot convenience dude.

Don't forget to add Rein into that. I'd say martial arts wise she can keep up with Kanata without problems. I assume Aria is the "healer"?? And Meguru is... Meguru. And I think it was hinted at in one chapter that Matsuena might introduce more characters.

No more news about Kenichi at all besides that one interview Matsuena gave when Tokiwa volume 2 came out. It's mostly about Tokiwa, but he mentions Kenichi a few times.

Scanlation for chapter 12 is out.
And here are the raws for chapter 20. I'm not quite happy with my translation and am probably going to change some things later when I can think of a better tranlation.
I looks like our main cast is complete - for now.
Now where do I get a 3D Living body printer? I have some data on my pc that I really need to print out asap.
And Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 will forever remind me of Siegfried.

Tokiwa now officially is the chosen leader. Rein's oracle mode is rather interesting and I wished she was more clear about what her relation to DEM II is. I need someone to build me glasses like Tokiwa's.

Rein is investigating those supernatural things, because they might lead her to DEM II, as DEM II was researching them as well.
At scholl Tokiwa bunps into one of his classmates, a girl named Kotohiro, who desperately begs him for help once she sees that he's reading a book about yokai. Rein who followed Tokiwa to school, because she was feeling lonely is eager to help while Tokiwa on the other hand is not to keen about getting dragged into some mess again. It turns out that at the girl's house some kind of monster has appeared, but so far she has not been able to find out what it is and how to deal with it.
Rein readily agrees to come with her after school and drags along Tokiwa before he can go and find Kanata. She even refuses Machina's help and is 100% confident that she's able to deal with that thing by herself.
On their way Kotohiro tells more about the thing and how she has tried to find information and help before, but could not find either.
As expected there really is a monster in Kotohiro's backyard and while Tokiwa calls Machina and tells him to get Kanata RIGHT NOW, Rein changes into her battle suit right in front of Kotohiro's eyes and charges at the monster.

I wonder if Kotohiro is going to be a regular cast member from now on or if she's just some side character like the other girl who was attacked by a monster some chapters ago.
Kotohiro posted a photo of that thing to a message board/forum and one of the people who replied went by the nick "Alien Great Commander". The scan is crappy, but their avatar seems awfully familiar as well... All hail the great demon alien king!
