Ogata did train him when he was younger, but that was to prepare him to learn from another master. I'm surprised that Hermit didn't want to study under him as well, and that Ogata didn't want to watch his battle with Siegfried to comment on his growth or anything. Actually, it seems as though they have yet to spoke ever since he grew up. WHY!!!?? And I can't believe Siggy isn't 21, but oh well, it's better that way. Does the book cover techniques and martial arts as well?

About that part. Do you know where it was stated that Ogata trained him for a bit? (chapter or arc) All I can find in the guide book says that he saved Tanimoto, told him to study martial arts and left again.

Where did the 21 come from? I always thought he was about the same age as the other disciples.

 

The books lists the techniques the characters have used up to the point where the guide was published and the style of martial arts they are using. But it's only the names and no further explanation.

I think Sieg being 21 comes from the fact that he was supposed to be going to a university while Kenichi and his friends were still in high school.

In regards to Ogata and Tanimoto, Ogata never trained him but rather, told him what to look for in a real trainer/master!

Take Ryuto for example, up until he met Ogata, he was just training like a regular person would in real life. But then he accidently met Ogata and found out there is different training methods that allow you to achieve super human like abilities.

I think that, Ogata told Hermit to seek people like himself who have mastered the type of body that is beyond a normal human capability.

That being said, I noticed someone writing on kenichiwiki that Tanimoto trained with Ogata, that is not true.

Yeah, I think that doesn't really count as training.

 

University? The guide says he's a high school student albeit at a different school than the others.

I say this because, when Rin was getting his ass kicked by apachai, she came to his aid right away and she seemed disgruntled at the fact that Rin spared Shigures life few times and Raki asked Rin something along the lines of "What is your relationship with that women" when Shigure was at the telecommunucations room!

Then again she was happy when Marmaduke saved her from Kensei Ma and she had a super funny expression of suprise when she found out that Marmaduke was a chick!

Speaking of Marmaduke, you would think she likes bacon since its full of protien and animal fat that gets you big while pretzel is basicly sugar,salt and carbs!

I agree, Edlletraft is annoying as hell, I assume that his goal is to die Scarface style in an epic way but goddamn get to the point bitch and enough of this poetry. Glad Sakaki KOed his ass!!!

There is a map on the cover inside. Siegfried's family's home and the land they own is that big semi-circle on the left side right above the horse racing track. Siegfried's family is filthy rich.
There's no time line though.

Here I have to disagree. My vote goes to Tanimoto (disciple class) and Saiga directly followed by Hongō when it comes to attractive men. I mean, Ogata doesn't look bad, but the others are more to my liking. And of course Rin wins the prize for the weapons division.

I could very well imagine that Ogata finds Kushinada attractive, but I'm not sure if she'd be interested in a "young brat". The guide always hints at that there might be a thing between her and the Elder - at least from her side.
