[Nacchi]

..........bro, this is a forum. I completely agree that characters that should be fleshed out(like Mihia who was supose to be another big Shigure bad guy) were left rather bland, more like caricatures instead. Is this manga worth holding on too, yea I think so. Just cause someone who has been dealing with issues of people spamming inaccurate shit presumes you have done things does not make him an impretanant person. He's got problems too, he just jumped the gun.

Actually my suspicions are not only founded on the IP adress (which can easily change if one person switches between different devices and locations).
 
Back then when "that other person" kept changing back Mihai's name I linked them to the explanation I wrote for his name change and asked them for a statment.
 
This is the answer I got.

 

Look, the manga is over and Michael/Mihail is a minor character and you changing his name without the offical translation will create problems since he is known as "Michael Schtilvay" in the English translations. Thats what English fans identify as when they use google or to search a chapter in regards to armed grandmasters.


Now I understand he maybe your favorite character but sadly, "Michael Schtilvay" is the name that bumps up his information on all search engines including the mexican kenichiwiki. At this point its too late try and reform peoples perception of what his actual name is since manga is over and the English and Hispanic hsdk translation identifies him as Michael Schtilvay on the google search.


Inconcluson, I respect your effort but ultimately due to search engine results, he must be renamed to "Michael Schtilvay" since all of his manga pages are associated with that name.

 

 

Word choice, general writing style, style of argumentation, and that person's arguements seem extremely familiar, don't they? Especially that "google search" non-arguement.

 

Now if you compare that to what Ogata wrote in this threas and in some older posts in the birthday thread, it pretty obvious- and has been obvious since the editing topic popped up the very first time back then. (post 1, post 2, post 3)

 

Ogata is about as subtle as the Elder when he claims that he's totally not and never ever the same person as Garyuu X.

Yea, exactly. He literally said he did edit Mihia. Can we get back on track with Mihia's morality rather than boing(and pointless) grude holding. This goes for Ogata too.

Combatmaster1o3, In regards to this being a public forum, there are some public forums that allow "ignore" button in order to avoid with shitheads.

Personally speaking, I am starting to find Nacchi to be a very creepy person.  He claims "But meh, who cares" and yet he posts links from few months ago and finding specific posts are not easy to find either. Clearly not an action of someone who doesn't care.

As far as the comparing goes, I already admit to my doings and yet he comes up with a shitty example. I also like how he doesn't address the IP situation, where more than one person can have one IP address...

Now back to the main topic, I remember while back, me and Citizen_Lion where discussing Michaels possible past which involved Apachai. I remember citizen saying  that Mihai may have been raised in a vineyard. Kind of does make sense since Mihai theme is also very similar to Batman villain Scarecrow. Although how he met Apachai and how he became who he is makes it interesting.

When you think about it, only Rin and Michael had any connection/backstory with the main cast. Rin being Shigures older adopted brother while Mihai had a connection with Apachai and Shigures father...

It would have been nice to see a backstory with Ganosuke and Seitaro as well.

It probably has something to do with the Shinigami thing, who knows maybe they were friends? Now that I think about it, in Apachia's flash back we see 3 shadows, the one with the syth is looking at it's hand like he is contemplating something. Maybe they influenced each other so one became life-saving and one fist-of-death.

I remember it as well, at first I thought he was trying to clinch his like a boxer, while the other shadow master is in a wrestling pose while Apachai is in a Muay thai stance.

But you are 100 percent right and the reason your right is that, in the battlefield, Michael said to Apachai something along the lines of  "your a gentle hearted Shinigami. I cant believe your still alive with that attitude" This implies that Mihai is familiar with Apachais personality since he wouldn't have made that comment if that was the very first time they met which was in a chaotic masters brawl.

Also when I think about Apachais past, he did work for a pirate name Hexford who would kidnap children and  perhaps Hexford may have known another crime boss for a friend and that crime boss may have had Michael as his main bodyguard. Apachai and Mihai may have become friends.

Another thing is, going back to your comment that it looked like Michael was holding his hands like he was contemplating something. I will say this though, most evil people in real life often become evil because their personal perception of justice and fairness may have been shattered or compromised so they set out to right all the wrongs.
