Now that I know what I do, of course it's intentional. :U

Matsuena does his research. A perverted kenpo master is kind of funny. Goes back to when Kensei was a comic relief character. To someone that actually knew the idea behind kenpo, it had to be hilarious.

Apachai can count as comic relief too. All the times he's almost killed kenichi. Lol
