they changed a few things which didn't even bug me since no of it was important =). Great esp now then hurry and give us our anime!!!.

If this doesn't point to an anime reboot, I don't know what will. Gotta hope the ova sells well in Japan, and I have no idea how popular Kenichi is over in its homeland.

Hi. This is my first post, but I also wanted to join in this convo. I think OVA's are made to tell authors how much this anime and manga are currently popular in Japan and overseas. With OVA's you can explore market, and you can finish them when you want, it's more profitable then making whole season. Also, this is sign that they didnt 100% end it anime. maybe they planning reboot, but bigger posibility is continuation of the third season. Maybe at end of this year, or next year. My opinion.

I personally don't think they would continue a third season because this ova pulls out scenes that would be in the third season. They can't exactly skip this part in the anime.

Rimi this is event right after the ending of that arc. Yami, Yomi they skipped a small arc which was sakaki.

Yeah but if they did the anime and picked up where they left off would they skip this event?

I don't see why they couldn't just not call them ovas if they reboot and say they're the first two episodes. Or just start from where the ova ended. There will be other ways to introduce yomi and yami also, so there are many ways to continue the anime.

Well if they called them episodes then..those were some high quality (graphics wise) videos. But then what would be the reason for that filler?

If you're talking about the first OVA, then Idk. They could probably leave that as it's own thing, I suppose.

If you're talking about the second, what was the filler? Felt like everything was straight from the manga.
