You could look at that as an accomplishment to make it seem better. :<

I'm glad my parents were never strict enough to control my internet. Or maybe they weren't good enough with computers.

She was like "I CANT ACCESS THE SITE HELP ME".

So I ask her what the error is and she goes "it says Site blocked and parent watcher in the corner". Lol she didn't realize what that meant until I told her. Cute. :3

She's so... Clueless. Lol. That is cute.

lmao

Well, I seem to remember people talking about going through proxies to get to sites that were blocked by their schools, but never really looked into it. Plus, knowing her, she'd just end up getting her entire internet cut off trying to do that since she gets caught a lot. Posted Image

Yeah I considered telling her about proxies or about tor, but I suspect her parents are watching her skype conversations now lol.

Plus the connection is slow and she wouldn't like that.

Man, she needs to learn how to be sneaky. I would log on at 3 am with my Wii!

I used to... Oh wait, I didn't used to sneak on the Internet because my parents used to shut the router off at night.

My parents did that too.

But this was when I had neighbors who had open wifi.

lol my parents never did that. Though my dad did use to cut off my internet access through the router sometimes. But that would just make me go to a different computer to get on.

Even had a friend on another forum who when her internet was cut off by her parents would just go to the library to get on.

None of my neighbors have ever had Internet.

At least this was before I stayed up late at night anyway. Parents don't shut the router off anymore either, but I have my phone and use my 3G most of the time anyway.

I used to go to the library as well and would stay late after school.

In the end my parents just gave up. Or so it seems.

Saiga

I couldn't go the library. It was in town... and I don't live in town.

My aunt always took me home right after school since she taught there, too.

This was all before I had decent internet though. God I don't miss dial-up.

eson

Dial up is to never be mentioned ever again.

Rimi

I bet koko is too young to even know what dial up is.

Saiga

She should be glad.

She probably won't even remember what the internet is by the time she gets back on. y;

Baww I miss her. :(

Actually I chatted with her on skype yesterday. She's making me Renka fanservice.

Next thing we know, skype will be the next thing to go.
