If my sources don't lie, then Matsuena's new series Tokiwa Kitareri!! is going to end next week on June 7.

It sounds very plausible seeing that they've just defeated the final boss.

Matsuena('s staff) hasn't said anything about it, yet.

I wonder if he's going back to Kenichi after that or if he'll start something new again. I hope there will be some kind of announcement about his future projects in the Shonen Sunday issue next week.

Will Tokiwa meet Kenichi at the Naoki Award ceremony? The author kind of hinted at it in Kenichi's last chapter.

@Nacchi where do you read the manga? I like it, but I can't find any chapters past 30

@makenker I'm reading it in Japanese. If that's okay with you I can post links or direct you to a story where you can buy the digital version of the manga and Shonen Sunday.

@makenker If you have a credit card and know how to operate Japanese stores, I would recommend http://www.ebookjapan.jp for the volumes and weekly shonen sunday.

Other possibility: the Spanish facebook group always posts the newest chapter fun shonen sunday https://www.facebook...Tokiwa.Kitareri
I haven't checked how far back their dls go. Let me know if you're missing some chapters.

And... it's over. The last chapter was rather uneventful, you could almost say it was bland.

Sunday didn't even give Mr. Matsuena a color page for the series' end and there are no details whatsoever about a new serialization - just the standard "Thanks for reading. Please look forward to Shun Matsuena's next work."

Volume 11 will be out this month and the remaining volumes 12 & 13 will go on sale together next month. The manga got the common "just let it be over"-treatment that axed series usually get.

I really hope that his next work will be announced soon and that it will turn out better for him than Tokiwa did.

Just for comparison:
