Wazadepa has been very silent ever since November when volume 60 came out, because they seem to be extremely busy, but online bookstores already have volume 61 listed. I will go on sale on February 18 if the dates are correct. Tokiwa vol. 1 is scheduled for the same date.

The price worries me a bit. The other volumes and Tokiwa vol. 1 are all 463 yen. I hope it's not cheaper, because it has less pages. I am aware that this volume will contain only 6 chapters instead of the usual 10-ish chapters, but they were rather long and I still haven't given up on a small bonus chapter or some nice omake drawings.
What kind of extras would you like to have if you could choose something?

I'm spamming now, but I did some math and if I did not count something wrong whe have about 164 pages conent from the remaining chapters + first 4 pages for into page, table of contents, etc.
This would leave lots of room for some bonus material if this volume had the regular page count (185-192 pages). Dear Mr. Matsuna, I beg you to fill these pages with something nice for us. Please don't leave us with a shortened volume that only contains the story we already know and nothing else.

The cover backside illustration are really cute SD version of the YOMI disciples.
And then there's the omake...
The Elder is going out and kenichi asks where he's going.

And the person waiting for him at a café is ... Mikumo. Their exchange at the café is great. It seems like they might end up dating for real.

Also, why does Mui wear gloves. It almost feels Mat tried to make this more streat fighter like than what it turned out to be.

Time for a strange theory.
Kushinada said that it's now 1:1 between her and Hayato. If she lost this time, that means she must have "won" the first round.
This time she wanted to set the Eternal Sunset plan into motion to start another worldwide war. And the first time The Eternal Sunset came up it ended in WWII.
What if that was the first time those two had a "match" and Kushinada was the reason for or heavily involved in the Second World War.
That would make her an even scarier person.
(inb4 the first match was just a harmless round of chess.)

Tokiwa dropped out of the top 30.
And I've been reding the reviews for Kenichi on Amazon Japan. I think the most used words in those reviews are "half-assed ending", but there are also several people who liked it.

Yea, such a bad ending definitely ruined it for the next series. People were left dissatisfied and left from Mr.Mats world
