I found the page I was looking for. I guess they wanted to show off all masters. Which is also the reason why they replaced the scene where everybody joked about Ogata not being used to technology, with one that has Ogata talking to Ro Jisei about Li Tenmon.

I've compiled all OVA opening and ending themes into one zip-file. Everything is tv-size length, excet Higher Ground of which they released a full version.

Higher Ground by Seki Tomokazu (TV Version OP, full version)

Glory Days by Nomizu Iori (DVD Ver., 1st ED)

Predawn Song by Nomizu Iori (OVA 3 music video bonus feature)

Wish by Nomizu Iori (DVD Ver., OP)

BREATHLESS by Nomizu Iori (DVD Ver. ED 2, TV Ver. ED)

The only reason alot of the masters were not included was because the chars were not fully developed yet, which seems to be reoccurrence in this series of an incredibly strange opponent that is Yami. It started out mysterous but for some reason after we found out how it works(kinda) and what its plan was, he left the support vague. It made Yami kinda funky and just dysfunctional, taking away to its already rushed ending. I wish Mat had the deft of Scott Cawthorn.

Yes, they left them out in the manga, because they were not developed yet. But I was comparing the differences between the manga and the anime. They could have left it like in the manga and kept the other OSNF in the dark and have them communicate over video stream, but they chose not to.

They could have, but the only reason alot was vague was because it osnf and yami were just being introduced. The way the osnf is portrayed in the anime is more like what the manga should have looked like.

I think it would have looked good if they kept them vague in the OVA as well. They did that for the tv series with the EIght Fists and it worked well.
The way they did it in the OVA takes a bit away from the remark sometime later when all the OSNF actually assemble in person and how this is supposed to be an extraordinary event. (I think it was sometime after the DoD when they had to decide who becomes the new leader of Yomi. Not that we will see this part animated, ever.)

That is true. Well its gonna be a little different and much shorter anyways.

I finally found Iori Nomizu's mini album and the regular album that come with full versions of Glory Days, Wish, Breathless and Predawn Song.

Enjoy
