Only three episodes long at this point but expected to go for 9 more, this anime has done something weird. Introduce the bad guy who wants to destroy the world in the very first episode, let the badguy make his declaration of war in the second episode, and make him kill the main characteer in the third...well...for some reason, being shot twice in the chest through and through isn't enough for main characters to die o-o but yea, its progressing incredibly fast in compared to the manga (which I lost track of over time)

This anime is about a boy who lives in a shingeki no kyojin-esque world, where instead of 3D maneuver gear, they have an alloy called vallanium which is kinda like insecticide against the fearsome gastrea (ugly insect-like monsters). And instead of titan shifters, they have the cursed children, these were born of humans while carring the gastrea virus, thus they have the same, or greater strength capabillities as the gastrea, and they vary depending on the type of gastrea gene they carry (rabbit, mantis, dolphin, etc).

Typically, these children are tokyo's best chance of survival, as they are the only ones capable of combating the gastrea and even more typically...they are the most ridiculed and rejected people in all of tokyo. (Also typically, they're all just too fudging cute! *^*) Now the protagonist here is named Rintarou, his history remains unknown, but he is part of a small company that handles infiltration of gastrea, he is called a promoter, and to each promoter there is an initiator, a roe which can only be filled by a cursed child, in this case, Enju, a rabit model initiator who's main guns are her feet.

I give this anime 5 stars because the manga was simply awesome to read, but 4 stars because its progressing at a surprisingly fast speed (there must be a lot of stuff to cram into those 12 episodes) but all in all it's really worth the read, and watch, so please, check out BLACK BULLET!......you'll agree that its very shingeki no kyojin-esque too xD
