I'm not sure if I posted this on my introduction when I first arrived here, but I'm a Twitter Roleplayer, and the characters I rp are Hermit, Hongo Akira, and Siegfried. That's why I was looking for pictures in here. That's beside the point. There are other HSDK rps, but not that many, so one request would be to join us. Please?

The main reason I'm creating this topic was for help to create a Storyline and a possibly a tournament. The storyline I thought of is called the "House of Fortuna". For now, I have a few ways of approaching this; Fortuna breaking out of the Big Lock (or somehow bailed out) and wanted revenge against Ryozanpaku and the Shimpaku Alliance, while adopting more children. Or just him wanting payback for what Sougetsu and Hermit did to him. It would be like the DofD Tournament, but in a twisted funhouse instead of a island and groups would have to be tactical in order to make it pass some of the rooms. I would like some suggestions on how to execute this.

Oh YOU'RE the one who made those? :P That's awesome. You should follow @hsdkfans.

I'm not really into roleplaying unfortunately.

Well I've never done roleplaying, though I'm interested in how the online ones work. In terms of how Fortuna got out I reckon him powering up in Big Lock is a good idea, either by observation of Alexander and Diego (maybe with some possible hints from Diego since they seem on good terms and the fact he has no distractions means he might train seriously enough to get to elite master status). Plus with the glasses guy who broke in and the other two popping in and out at a regular basis means that masters can break out of it ok and if he's around he's probably seen how to do it. The fun house thing you could approach with that he already owns one, maybe by how he originally started to make his money or one he bought on a whim in his past, maybe just to launder some money he earned from illegal dealings (and a great place to kidnap children!). So he could choose it as a place to hide out and maybe he has some cash stashed there since most of his assets would surely be frozen by the authorities.

As far as the room thing goes not sure what you have in mind for it. Are you needing an overall goal something to stop them just from busting out (which is a big issue if you have masters getting involved) or a way of luring them there in the first place? If your going the Shinpaku route Fortuna could leak some fake Yami/Yomi info making it seem like it is a secret training camp for Yomi soldiers to spark their interest plus with the Shinpaku even if they find out its a trap if they know strong fighters have been gathered they'd probably go in either way.

Tacticalness with the rooms could be down to just choosing decent fighter match ups but you could also have some intelligence based traps. For some reason I have Kaiba's Death-T project from the original Yu-gi-oh series in my head. http://www.mangaread...chapter-29.html

I doubt any of that is helpful but hey I tried. Good luck with it.

Fortuna training more seriously is definitely a good and plausible plothook. After seeing a good chunk of his investment sunk by literally about 5 people, and his own beating to the hands of some kids, Fortuna is more bitter, angry, and determined than ever to get back at Ryozanpaku.

There is nothing short of a full-scale war that could threaten Ryozanpaku, and even if Fortuna won that way, he wouldn't get any satisfaction from it, so the only way to truly win is to beat them in martial arts.

Alexander and Diego (especially) are both amused and also see this as an honourable way to get back at Ryo, so they trained Fortuna. All three of them are now full of free time to train with each other, so Alex and Diego will come back the equal of any in Ryo and OSNF, and Fortuna a "lower level elite master", the equal of, say Christopher Eclair in his first appearance (Eclair should be a lot stronger now)

That's actually very helpful. I would prefer the Shimpaku+Hermit route, though how he'll take part on this would be difficult.

That would be interesting if I would bring the masters into this SL, but we only have an Akisame, Shigure, and Sakaki, which could be enough if they're online as much.

Sounds fun to me

Join us, we need more characters.

I can't tell how this works. So people choose who they want to be, then you start a campaign/storyline but many of the characters chosen won't fit the plot, will they? Does each person then just explain what their characters are doing? Plus how often can Kaede really show up?

Well, it's optional if the writers would want to participate in a specific SL, or create their own. It's not always about being in SL.
