The "Seven Deadly Sins", a group of evil knights who conspired to overthrow the kingdom of Britannia, were said to have been eradicated by the Holy Knights, although some claim that they still live. Ten years later, the Holy Knights have staged a Coup d'état and assassinated the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. Elizabeth, the king's only daughter, sets out on a journey to find the "Seven Deadly Sins", and to enlist their help in taking back the kingdom

You evil Duck you. I did check it out. I saw Elizabeth... and now I cannot stop reading it. Best body in a manga in a long time for me, or perhaps it's just that outfit she starts with. Mmmm. shoulders, and I don't mean the pork (although the talking pig has to be the second attraction by far, remind me of the equally awesome talking horse in Yongbi the Invincible)

After reading the first two chapters, I must say this manga is quite interesting. I like the concept.

Elizabeth was pure, concentrated industrial strength love. I ran through the nanatsu no taizai archive already... and aching for more
At least now I have 2 series to follow instead of 1.
The only thing I don't like about NNT is how overpowered the hero is. I know that the whole point is that he is supposed to be mysterious, but when he is vastly more powerful than every single character of the manga put together, from both sides, it becomes a bit strange (and makes the events of the story a lot less dramatic, because the hero is more or less his own Deux Ex Machina...)

Still following it and enjoying it. Not much to say so far other than Ban is awesome and Elizabeth is just too cute. Actually Diane is cute too, but she really should notice King a bit more.
All of the main cast seems to be truly pure and good so far, to the point of being too good to be true, which makes me suspect that they all have very dark sides that are truly as bad as all the rumours, but they are not aware of this.
Because that would better explain why the "first generation" holy knight, who has been shown to be ordinary human beings without any real "evil influence" have grown to become so militant, high-handed, and ruthless. There has to be a real threat of such a magnitude that they would all subscribe to such a dogma...
Edit: that said, it is entirely possible that the holy knights were all worked up by a very skillful manipulator to respond to a completely imaginary threat. After all, a world war started this way...

Yea the story finally got interesting. Diana is definitely stepping up on her attractiveness! Can't let Liz hog all the spotlight ![]()
Also, I bet with you that Hawk is secretly the strongest character in the series ![]()
