I want Tanaka Tsutomu to show back up. Soon. He's the businessman that was in DofD and ended up sparring with Kenichi at Ryozanpaku later on.
It's pretty obvious he's eventually going to fight Ogata, I think.
Too bad I don't think there's a way for him to join the series as a regular. For some reason, I like him. Seems like he could be another mentor to Kenichi.

I thought he was a follower of Katsujinken, just his emotions override him at times.

Yeah, Waco is right. He's got a personal issue with Ogata. I think what's going to end up happening is that he's going to be about to kill Ogata and Kenichi will stop him with his mad skillz.

Since I'm fully caught up, I guess I can do some serious speculation now.
Active Yami + my thoughts:
Saiga-
Going to end up fighting Akisame, ends in draw, rejoins Ryozanpaku.
Ogata-
See above posts, or if this ends up on next page, see previous page. I'd also love a miniarc on his disciples if that'd be possible.
Jenazad-
Hongo-
Hongo will win their fight, but after that they'll both be out of the picture.
Mikumo-
She's going to break just like her disciple is. It'll be Elder's fault. :U
Rahman-
I really don't have any idea since Ethan is out of the picture for now.

Kensei's going to end up defeating him, of course. The arc involving him being defeated will introduce Kensei's wife and other children to the series.

I'm thinking Saiga's desciple or Tanimoto will end up being Kenichi's final Fight before he surpasses has rank as desciple. Tanimoto has already been set up as Kenichi's rival, and Saiga's Diciple (eyepatch guy) is probably the current strongest in Yomi.(althought If I remember correctly, Ogata still has one more disciple we've yet to see)
I'm also wondering when Chikage will fight, and with who. We don't really know how she fights compared to her master.(besides jumping on Ukita's back like a spider monkey, and moving his arms for him)

Actually Kenichi is already past the disiciple rank and in the expert rank.
