Natsu x Rachel?

[I'm entirely unsure if this is the correct section to post this topic. If it isn't, let me know and I'll move it to the appropriate place.]

Indeed, this pairing is probably as cracky as Gaara and Ino is from Naruto, but I still find it unique, humourous,
and possessing that little flair that makes some couples 'click' for some people.

Arguments I've seen in favour of this pairing is: that blondes gravitate, and Rachel would find a challenge in getting Natsu's normally stoic attention and that it would bloom into something more.

Now I don't really believe in the blondness approach, but I do agree thatmost pairings could reaonsably hook up if the cricumstances are approached and written well/believable enough.

Shall we discuss this pairing here?

The dialogue is supposed to be:

Natsu: "C'mon Rachel, toss the bouquet - the attention will only be off you for a moment and then we can start the after party."

Rachel: "B-but it's our special day! Not theirs!"

Well we had a pairing thread but it hasn't been used for awhile. Yeah I've thought about how Rachel and Natsu would get on but they've not been shown as interacting much. Would like to see more of them together though, Yomi's should talk more! Nice picture as well!

I think the only time I recall Natsu and Rachel sharing a moment was in the American military base where she asked for a game of chess, she seemed pretty interested in him then - though that's more from her natural attention-seeking personality than any romantic interest.

That does bring to mind an idea for a scene where she tries to distract him from the game by stuffing captured pieces into her clevage. Hmm... I'll have to keep that idea in mind for a future commission... :plotting:
