I've seen some people on the internet post things like:
"What if Kenichi turns to Satsujinken?"
"What if Kenichi almost kills someone?"
"This fight might be the one where Kenichi joins YOMI."
And so on.
For me, if Kenichi turned evil, he would probably go from my favorite character to one of my least favorite characters pretty fast. I really like how nice and caring Kenichi is, and I'd hate to see him turn into some dark angry bad guy like most of Yami.
What are your thoughts on an "Evil Kenichi".

I think it would be interesting to see where Matsuena would take Kenichi id he was evil. I wouldn't like it, because Kenichi is supposed to be good and to me, it'd feel like a plot point rehash.

I kinda feel certain characters have been put in to show people similar to Kenichi go down the wrong path by circumstance. Most notably Mizunuma and Tanaka but also to a certain extent Odin. I can only see him going to the dark place if someone close to him is killed though, Miu being the worst and even then he'd probably stop before the finishing blow.

It's just not a possibility for me. I can't see Kenichi making a fave that's "evil" without some hilarity added on to it. He's a pure soul and it's not meant for him.
If he were to do it though then I doubt he'd be very strong. I believe his strength comes from his desire to protect Miu. If he was evil he wouldn't have that drive.

I agree with that, but if Kenichi turned evil it would most likely happen in another manga that Matsuena writes.It's just not a possibility for me. I can't see Kenichi making a fave that's "evil" without some hilarity added on to it. He's a pure soul and it's not meant for him.

But, seriously, I don't think Kenichi will be corrupted that easily. Even if Miu's using her astonishingly good looks.
But, even more seriously, Renka had better get that power of love ready just in case.

A bitter Kenichi is basically Ogata or Tanaka. We don't know what caused Ogata to become what he was, but I am given to suspect that once upon a time he was just as idealistic as Kenichi is now.

I think the reason elder took an interest in kenichi was because he reminded him of his(saiga furinji) an once like kenichi he believed in non killing so if you wanna see what would happen if kenichi if he killed someone then just look at saiga....

I hear you on that, no wonder the elder took him to the mountains to see Ogata, he wanted to see what he could become if he chose the wrong path and a Ogata happened to be that example for Kenichi.

I think it's very likely that we will see Kenichi struggle to choose between the Saving and Killing Fists after Kajima does something to drive him over the edge.

I completely agree. Its just not in him.
I know it's a popular trend in a one for a hero to go all rage more and stuff, and that's considered cool. But only some characters can benefit from that. At best, Kenichi could use righteous anger to simulate that sort of thing. But I believe he would be weaker if he went into some Satsui no Hado type rage.

Saiga didn't become evil. He just seemed to think that the mindset of Katsujinken was too limited to accomplish the greater good. Besides, there's still a lot about Saiga that's unclear as hell. I doubt he was anywhere near as naturally soft and pacifistic as Kenichi is.
