To be fair... I feel like the concept of marriage actually has been sort of lessened to a degree, primarily because of the option of a divorce serving as a "reset button" of sorts.

That being said, I'm not particularly sure I'd ever get married myself. I'm sure I'll know what to do if the time comes though.

Also, I'm not sure why this thread is the first thread I chose to post in on my first visit in a month, but alas.

I think people divorce too easily, and gets married too. What is lacking is that dedication towards the person you who is supposed to be your partner in life. Many times it seems like some are getting married because they seem to think it is expected. Finding someone, getting married, getting household, kids, dog and maybe few other pets. Then BAM, it comes to them, it’s not what they wanted from life, they divorce. They talk how they lost that falled in love feeling. Daa, it is supposed to be lost, and grow into something better.

I admire couples, married or not, who work for their relationship, are truly companions in life, supporting and loving each other’s no matter what. That is what true love means to me, having a person just for you who is there for you and who considers the same of you.
