Why are MSN and Google checking out the forum? Sure, it's exciting to see major companies, but I think it's kinda weird...anyway, I'm dragging my friend here pretty soon.

Those are search engines. They browse the site and index it so that more people can find the site by searching. Its still a new site so its gonna be kind of slow for a while. I can't wait to see your friend though.

It's quite alright, really. I'm currently powering through the beginning chapters myself. I'm currently on Chapter 33 after just starting today from Chapter 1.In my defense, I still keep up with the manga... I'm just fuzzy on the things I read before. Sigh, the consequence of speedreading.

I'm surprised I am too, but as I said before. Kenichi has a very subtle art style that I've grown to really appreciate. And the storytelling, while confusing at times, has a lot of good elements at the moment.
Then the characters themselves. Appachai and Shigure are my favorites by far.

It jumps around. All I know is Kenichi's training to stop being bullied while a group named Ragnarok is bullying him so he joins up with them. I'm guessing they want him to join them because he's training enough to where he can't be bullied as easily anymore and they know he's strong?

Kenichi is seen as some strong guy so ragnarok wants him to join them. If he doesn't join them then they need to beat Kenichi to save face.
However, Kenichi is actually weaker than all of them so to save HIS face he trains. and after he beats one enemy a stronger one comes and so on. But it starts to twist and new allies are made and some other really amazing story telling.

That's what I loved about HSDK in the beginning. He'd beat someone strong, then someone stronger shows up, and then he shits himself. lol
