When I saw him first in High School when he killed Kenichi I thought: "What an arrogant dumba**!"

But I have to say with the fight between Kokin and Kenichi in Okinawa I've really fallen in love with this charakter. And also with Kru Agaard.
It is wonderful that we got a deep look in Apachai's and Agaard's past. It explains a lot.
But regrettably we did not learn much about Koukin.
I mean not much more than we knew before.
What I like about him is his cool calmness, he's a gifted strategist.
One thing I always asked myself was: what about the tatoos? What is their meaning? And has Koukin a tatoo on his forehead like Agaard or not? Because you never can see his bare forehead, there is always a wisp of hair concealing it.
And it would be very interesting to know how and when master and disciple met.

Yeah, I really hope we will see Kokin and Agaard again.

A koukin fan? That's new. Admittedly I never gave his character much thought for exactly the reasons you mentioned. We just know so little about him. During the Apachai vs Agaard arc I feel lie kenichi got more development than kokin actually. When apachai "died" Kenichi freaked out. He runs towards his master and Kokin gets in the way and Kenichi screamed at him to move away. we saw Kenichi's love and concern for his master but not much of Kokin.

Yet another character I would love to know more about. I would love for him and Agaard to show back up in the future, and I think they will.

The fights between Kenichi and Koukin have both been awesome, with the second one probably being one of my favorite fights so far.

Oh, but also Koukin got in rage by seeing his master down. Agaard wondered about it because even he as his master has never seen him in rage before, so I think there has to be a very good relationship between these two.
Plus number two: we got a honest laughter from Koukin when he realized that even he could not hate Kenichi. That laughter makes him very handsome in my eyes.

Btw, I checked and his name is apparently spelled Kokin. Btw is that his last name? I always get confused by these things..

The spelling is not consistently. Sometimes it's Kokin, sometimes Koukin.
And even Tirawit is written Tira Wit once.
I'm also not sure what's last name. But most lilely Koukin could be the first name because in Thailand people adress others basically with first name. So this would be logical. But I don't know how the author's aspect was about that point.

I'm going to assume the author followed the japanese style.

I want to say Kokin is his first name because Kenichi calls him Kokin and he doesn't address anyone by last name.

I've never seen him referred to as Tirawit, always Koukin,

I'd say it doesn't matter either way, as long as we know who we're talking about.
