HSDK Second OVA 2 Opening

Websunday has updated with info on the upcoming second HSDK OVA set to release on June 18th with Volume 47 of History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. The page contains cover art for the DVD and cast listings for Furinji Hayato, Mui, Kenichi, Ma Kensei, Apachai, Renka, Takeda, Siegfried, Kisara, Shou, Li Raichi and Li Tenmon.

There's also an 8 minute preview of the second OVA.

Anyway it looks good and it just seems as intro to start anime series. I mean why introduce the main bad guy and yami for all two ova shot.

The animation during fighting scenes looks great. However at the beginning it seems are little bit derpy. Maybe that's just my eyes that are wrong.

Not quite sure if this is the right thread, but a bigger picture of the folder that comes with Shonen Sunday S 7/2012 was postet at twitter.

The fighting animations still feel the same way as I remember them. By perfecting such an overly dramatic special effect animation style, they've left room for all the rediculousness of the manga. I think this is a good thing.

So back on topic...seeing as the OVA is going to be straight out of the manga I'm actually not all that exciteed for it anymore. I don't now, I just feel like I've seen it all already so eh. Still curious though that they fit so many chapters into half an hour...also was the french assassin arc before or after Li Raichi's raid on shinpaku? I can't remember.

I dont really see this as an ova now that we know it's directly from the manga. Seems more like a sure sign of a new season.

The assassin arc was right before Raichi.

Umm... They skipped stuff in first anime. Infact they skipped the whole training in the first time they went to the forset arc.

Ehh... I think that arc is easily skippable. No real story impact other than "there's a group called yami" which could just as easily be explained in one line starting from anywhere.
