Here are the first seven minutes of the upcoming History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi OVA.

The OVA will be bundled with Volume 46 of History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi which will be released on March 16th.

Yeah it wasn't meant to follow the manga however what I find more funny is why it followed a little of it maybe setting up a legit anime show again lol. To be honest it kind of felt like it was setting up stuff.

I feel like the voices were off a bit. Especially Apachai's... I always imagined him having a deeper voice than that. I'd be fine with a subbed version of the OVA if they make one.

Most likely KMD did rather good state side. Funimation brought the second session to america due to the popularity of it.

Most likely KMD did rather good state side. Funimation brought the second session to america due to the popularity of it.

AND they put all the subs and dubs on YouTube. Or a mixture of it all.

No, just something a bit deeper. His current voice actor reminds me of the Black Blood demon Ragnarok from Soul Eater. And then Kenichi's seems like he's too high-strung?

Apachai and Kenichi seemed a bit off from how I imagined they would be.

I agree that kenichi is different from what I expected (FYI the voices are the same from the anime aside from Miu and Hayato) but I kinda like the approach they took with him. It's really fitting.

I like Sakaki's voice and Shigure's voice though. They go well with the characters. I'm not sure what to think of Akisame's, but I'm still distracted by the idea that his eyes are hardly visible...
