so I take it the story of the 1st one will be about kenichi's 1st encounter with sho and the 2nd will be about how apachai came to be a member of ryozanpaku

I hope this means a new series is really coming and the ovas are just setting things up.

i'm gonna go through the whole anime again now because of this announcement

Well, I actually didn't watch it on purpose because I didn't really like the Eclair Arc. But, it's only about thirty minutes, so I guess I can watch it.

Also, I think I'll watch the anime, too because I've only seen a few of the episodes.

man this really gets my hopes up for a season 3 of the series.

technicaly there are 2 seasons of the original anime but most people don't really see it that way

If they are making a season 3, I think that they should expand on the DofD Tournament for more popularity, like how Dragon Ball did. Though it may not work as well...

Okay, I've finished the third OVA. I actually liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Sakaki was really funny.

I dunno about expanding on the DofD Tournament, though. It already had a lot of stuff going on. They also don't have to worry about getting too close to the manga for now. It would depend on how they do it.

Also, it seems Ogata will be appearing in one (or both) of these episodes. I'm guessing it will be Episode 4 since he was there during Sho Kano's introduction.
