I really hope Kenichi gets another season.

When I posted it, I only glanced at it and thought it said 480p. :s

It wasn't too bad to watch though, even blown up all the way to 1080p resolution...

So yeah, pretty sure it's leading into a new season. Using the same opening and ending themes almost confirms it, really.

Both OVAs use the same opening and ending. Before, the opening and ending would change ever OVA.

I'm not sure if it uses the one from the anime. Never watched it. But considering how anime is, they change opening and ending themes every season... probably more often in some cases.

I think the reason they are the same is because the OVAs were made together.

I took a listen and no it's not the same as the anime. The anime used two different themes during its run. I really liked the first one.

That second theme has been my study / work / train song for years. If only Rimi is real!!!! With a training motivation like that, even a real life person can become master class!!!!

the first 3 ovas didn't really have and opening

ova 4 and 5 have openin and endings similar to that of the anime

that hint at what's gonna occur later, like kenichi vs sho.

they were just really well done.

hopefully another season gets announced, they have a lot to work with now, so it can last a while

A new season approaches. I know it. I can feel it. Now entering on topic, the new opening theme is good but I would like to say that for me the best song of kenichi would always be Yahoo! (The name of the anime second opening theme is Yahoo!, yea, like the website...)

But the opening really only showed all the chracters in the OVA's and not all the rest of the characters kind of like the ending, if they were hinting to another season wouldnt they make the opening more revealing showing more characters then just up to shou and that

I guess I'm the only one who likes "Be Strong". In fact, it's the only Kenichi theme I really like.

I still think the openings are the same only because they were made together. I still can't find anything about the Kenichi anime continuing, either. Where are these rumors coming from?

There's a rumor about another OVA already. Can't find anything about it from Matsuena's website (because it's down) or Shonen Sunday.

I went straight to mangaoh and searched using the release dates and found nothing. I completely overlooked the source on the page I linked though. :< 

I hope there's some more info on this here soon.

That's the basic message you get after setting up PHP on your server. So it looks like the server got wiped/reinstalled or something to that effect.

Mmmm... well, I will just say that the rumors that I have heard are:

1.- There will be a 2nd season (with 45 episodes) at some point in 2014

2.- There will be another OVA on november 18th. 

the OVA is probably possible, but the rumor of another season in 2014 comes from wikipedia and that source is as bad as Ukita commen sense

According to ANN, there will be a 50 minute OVA released with the manga on nov 15.  It seems they might be jumping around a bit...to my chagrin.
