This chapter made me realize that Senzui is not as strong as Hayato/Ganosuke. Infact the only way he managed to kill people was being disguised as Saiga which basicly means that he caught them off-guard. Though we have to give him credit for concealing his Ki/killing intent.
That being said, I still don't understand how Nuking the world and starting world war 3 has anything to do with Kuremisago village...
I wonder if Saiga Furinji is gonna get "Raditzed" in a sense that, although he is a relative of a prominent characters, he may very well be just a minor character himself by getting killed by Senzui?

It does look to me that Saiga is not as strong as Senzui though. Saiga may indeed get Raditized here, which gives motivation for Kenichi and set up a proper time skip.
As for who will save Kenichi from Senzui's murderous touch, I would say it can be either the Elder, or Senzui himself realizing that he should not destroy the next generation.
About Senzui's disguising when killing, yes, I do notice too that the majority of his fights, except for the curbstomp against Shiba, has been based partly on trickery & cunnning instead of just literally be much better than the opponent.

I think Senzui's plan is like this: Somehow, Kuremisago got excluded from the rest of the world because they were the strongest people by that time, then they decided their current course of action, because the rest of Japan just couldent follow them, so they got in that imaginary prison, and they lived like that for centuries.
Now, Senzui must be thinking that if the world, like it is now, cannot be adequate for the remaining Kuremisago members, then he will make the world in a way that the survivors will be able to be part of Kuremisago, something like: The strongest will survive the war, so we will coexist, then Kuremisago's curse will be over.
What he did in the past, I mean, killing some of his comrades was made just to reunify the village, then prepare it to be opened to the world.

Those mysterious elders covered by blinds, why in the world would you listen to them first Sakaki with the yami ones and now Senzui. I thought the Kenichi martial arts world was a might makes right kinda thing.
About Senzui he does seem stronger than Saiga this chapter, I wouldn't be surprised if he kills Saiga setting up new conflicts but elder seems more overwhelming than both of them.
Also atleast we know Saiga is a killing fist practitioner probably Shizuha was too wonder how that will affect Miu?

No doubt, it looks like Saiga is gonna suffer the same fate as Tanaka since like Tanaka he is overwhelmed by anger even though againts Jenazads master henchman, he handled them in a Sei manner, which means that he might get killed, hence this is gonna set up two things:
1. Elder vs Senzui is going to go down, since with Guru Rahman and with Diego/Alex roaming around, it means that Kushinada will not be able to do anything againt Ryo masters +Agaard and Sougetsu
2. Miu witnessing her fathers death might make her personality dark and for all we know, we might get a SHOCK moment of her ending up Murdering Kajima out of spite since Kajima represents his now deceased father and the student of the man she hates most in the world since he is the one responsible for murdering the two people that are as important to her as life itself.
Thus Miu becoming a darker hsdk version of Bruce Wayne!
Your theory makes alot of sense, and speaking of Sho Kano as your username, I am not curios to know who actualy trained him, was it Saiga or Senzui???
Sakaki never listened to them, he only met them out of respect for his late satsujinken master, although we have never been introduced to Sakakis master, it was confirmed that Sakakis master was a satsujinken follower who had connections with these people. But yeah, I agree with you in regards to Senzui!
If you ever get sucked into a vortex that takes you to the HSDK universe, you should avoid listening to old farts who are weaker than you! It seems like strong characters for most part have a strong wisdom while crappy old masters like fortuna and tenmon master seem batshit crazy!

Tenmon isn't that crazy... Sometimes one has to put aside family relations (however so) to better train the next generations.
But Syun is really putting out a great story for HSDK atm. I wonder how the others (SA & Unarmed Yomi vs Armed Yomi & Revolution Slasher Soldiers. Ryopack + Agaard, Sougetsu, and Cyril vs 8 Severing Sins + Ogata[?] and Mikumo. Kenichi vs Kajima) going to compare?

And here are some reasons why I think Renka's not in the battle with SA.
That's all I have so far. Thoughts?

That last thought would be awesome, just imagine it after the yami business has settled down they go home to find a dead Renka in the chinese district from the state of her body they can tell a forbidden kung fu tech was used. Ma is angry, Kenichi's angry, they have to go to China...

But he is though!
I mean, the moment a master attacks disciples in a blind rage is the moment they should be insane and chaotic!
Also, Tenmon is katsujinken towards young girls because he has a daughter, this makes him more crazy since he is not a pure satsujinken because of his mixed idealogy.
This is a complete opposite of someone like Ogata who has a consistent idealogy and so, you won't expect any crazy behaviours that are inconsistent with what he believes in.
That being said, Kenichis final disciple opponent should be...Ganosukes disciple!!!!
Lets be honest here, Senzui is not impressive at all, he only got those kills because he managed to trick his enemies and catch them off guard. I mean sure Senzui and Saiga maybe stronger than Kushinada and maybe Jenazad but they are probably weaker than Ganosuke/Hayato!

In light of recent events it makes me wonder why kuremisago gave away Kano Shou to Hongo when they have people like Senzui there.

But thats pointless, I mean what storyline or relationship can be created between Hermit and Ganosukes disciple!?
Unless Ganosukes disciple turns out to be Hermits so called "Dead" sister that was revived through Ganosukes secret science that allowed him to become survive countless battles and thrive to become a Legendary master, then there is no point to use Ganosukes disciple to be fed to supporting characters.
Frankly, the author has been jazzing up Saiga and Kajima as some future badass opponents and when the time finaly arrived, we basicly got a recycled version of characters that already apeared in the series. What I mean by that is, Senzui,Saiga and kajima are pretty much the second coming of Ogata,Tanaka and Ryuto.
Senzui is like Ogata who is known for encouraging his disciples to experiement for sake of martial arts developments and is sneaky like Ogata.
Saiga is exactly like Tanaka, who is one minded and obbessed on getting revenge for his wife just like Tanaka and just like Tanaka, he wants to do it alone and on his term, refusing help or refuge from Ryo masters.
Kajima is pretty much the same version of Ryuto, obbessed with martial arts and like Ryuto he was very weak too! Granted Kajima had immune system problems while Ryuto was the ONLY guy who lost to an untrained Kenichi when they were kids which is sad since Kenichi was a punching bag even too Nijimma!
This leaves us to Ganosukes disciple, so this arc ends with Shigure being rescued and ofcourse Kenichi will probably seek to train with Shigure since he felt the pain of not having Shigure in his life and so a NEW bond is born between them! So with Kenichi weapon training more and with Hayato vs Ganosuke rematch needing to go down, it means that the next arc could possibily feature a weapon trained Kenichi vs Ganosukes disciple!
I don't think the author had any intention of having Senzui exists in this manga but...there is a good reason that Sho is better off with Hongo than he is with Senzui.
Here are the reasons:
1. Kuremisago elders know that Senzui is crazy enough to kill his own comards who as they say "Shared a laughter and sarrows with" and thus they determined that Sho might be better off with someone who has more firm foundation in his character since for them, senzui was a super strong guy who could be used for their own cause.
2.Kuremisago/Yami probably knew that Senzui has a tendency to train his disciples to a point of injury, Kajima is the perfect example!
3.Kuremisagos/Yami have recognized Hongo as a guy who is best at raising disciples since he has done so in the past, they also know that Hongo has a better character and stability with kids and is more protective of the weak which was shown when Hongo took a bullet to save the hostages.
So even if your an evil yami member, you can't help but feel admiration for someone who is willing to do that and they know that Sho Kano, there prized members is in a better hands with Hongo than he is with Senzui.
Also, Sho trained with all the members of OSNF which I assume included Saiga/Senzui possibily. But yeah, it makes since to have Hongo as a teacher/mentor than some guy who could be manipulated to turn on his own comards.

Travelling and a bit sick so can't say much...
Actually I somewhat agree with this. The final boss for Kenichi in HSDK can only be Berserker. There is no one else that truly fits. Their last fight was downright disappointing because neither really put in serious effort. Berserker is without a doubt the most talented person of the current generation, and so he must be matched with Kenichi, one utterly without talent.
And about why Senzui is not chosen to groom Sho... well, Senzui is just a step or two away from becoming Jenazad. He is also succumbing slowly to PTSD and has his world view warped toward "gedou"... He is too dangerous to have a regular disciple. Hongo is weaker, but not THAT much weaker, and is an infinitely better teacher.
By the way, just want to add to Ogata's point about Senzui and Saiga not seemingly as impressive as they should be, I want to point out that they had not been hovering in mid air while fighting. They jumped back and forth between tree tops and walls. This was showned at least twice during the fight. They jump, clash for a split second, in which there are probably 30-50 punches & kicks thrown, then jump off some other spring board to clash again. They did not simply hover in mid air because this would utterly violate gravity, which I hope HSDK still follow
Even Hayato has never been shown doing anything like that. The best Hayato himself could do was one perfect double jump (well, even Sasaki can double jump with his "Kuuchu Sankaku Tobi", just not as far).

I agree on Berserker being the final fight when it comes to Kenichi having a disciple antagonist! This also creates a rivarly between the Kenichi vs the Original Ryo disciple Ogata! No doubt, Kenichi vs Berserker is a better storyline!
As far as Ganosukes disciple goes, once Kenichi becomes a master, he can fight another young master who was trained by Ganosuke. Ofcourse thats a storyline for the future.
Now lets talk about Senzui, I agree that Senzui seems like a "Gedou" practioner and its important to mention that, occasionaly, great masters are not great teachers, which was the case of Jenazad who broke his disciples or how Kushinada seems to not understand the emotional side of her disciple.
Mean while, Hongo and even Jise Ro are much better teachers even though Hongo seems below Jenazad and Kushinada while Jise Ro has been a minor character and even Ogata being much much younger than Jenazad/Kushinada and yet, 100 times the teacher than both of them put together!
That being said, when I said Saiga and Senzui are not impressive was more like their characters! Senzui is cheap and doesn't fight in a proper manner. While Saiga lost his cool and going berserk even though he took out the silat masters in a Sei manner. I know he is trying to avenge his wife but when Jenazad insulted Sho, Hongo still kept his cool and didn't let Sei become corrupt by Jenazad.
They are unimpressive because of their characters, lame (in Senzuis case) unoriginal (Saigas case) motives. What makes a character likeable and epic is the way they carry themselves and what kind of conviction they have. Senzui is just a halfass mixture of Ogata and Jenazad and Saiga is pretty much the second coming of Tanaka!
