This arc isn't really turning out how I expected it to. I was sort of thinking that we would see Kenichi own a couple of people since he's been training non stop to help rescue Shigure. Then again it makes sense that Kajima is this strong. Also we know that Kenichi will eventually win unless there's a round two but I can't see that happening at this stage in the game.
Ahhh, poor Kenichi, he did improve a lot, but he suffers from the eternal flaw of lack of preparation! Or just poor fashion sense! He have seen Saiga, so there is no excuse not learning from his father in law and...
... wear boots with hard soles, boots are good for school, and eventually the work place. For infiltrating yami bases, a leg tekkou, or hell, a thin steel plate ducktaped to the front of the boot turns it into a war boot. That foot slam that didn't really do anything to Kajima would have resulted in major injury had he followed Saiga's choice of footwear instead of the master Ma's.
Also I notice in the last panel that he is not wearing his chain vest (lovingly made by Shigure, of all people). Seriously Kenichi? This is how you spurn the most eligible bachelorette of the series?!

Ninja Hand Seals huh that's new. Wonder how many chapters till Kajima gets defeated? I say that because I have this odd feeling Kenichi stronger than we know plus of course main character armor ;-).
Kenichi is a lot stronger for sure. I think it would be about now that he has a mental vision of Miu and his friends getting butchered, and he goes ape crazy.
But imagine how heart-broken Shigure would be to find that he isn't wearing her chainvest... Let's hope that's just the lack of details in that panel.
The Ninja hand seals thing as a plot device disappointed me a bit. Up to now, disciple fights have been somewhat based on reality. This should have been explained in a way that is grounded in reality too.
Clamping the toes of one feet into a wedge in the ground and clenching your fingers and arm in a certain way stabilizes your body and grounding it better, which makes a kick that much more efficient and powerful. Akisame and Ma explained this in similar terms twice near the beginning of the story.

Why do we need to explain it a mystical way now?
That's just the way ninjutsu is explained some times but it is weird
I'm surprised no one seems interested in why Satomi's Furinji style Chigiguruma is the same as the Chigiguruma technique used by Okamoto. Wonder what his connection to the Furinji style is.

Nice find! My take of this is that Okamoto is indeed Senzui. Musou just means "matchless", so it's a neutral name. Then Kajima put his spin on it and named it Furinji style in honour of Saiga, because I think that he considers himself a disciple of Furinji school, just like Tanaka has "Tenchi-Mushin style Kazoe Nukite"

Maybe or Okamoto might have been taught by Saiga or Hayato.
You guys are reading in to this new move way too much. Don't forget that Takeda has a similar technique based on cat and a frog as well as Ganosuke using a similar move on the Elder as well. Although Ganosuke uses both his sword as oppose to his fists.
Its basicly Bisons move from street fighter that is being used by various hsdk character with different variations.
It's not just the move itself but the naming of it I'd be very surprised if there wasn't a connection, definitely feels like some of Matsuena's foreshadowing.

Also why can't I quote anymore?
I still can quote. I notice that there are two forum interface, one accessible from the home page and one from the forum link, that seems to have all the buttons in different places.
Yea, I think the move's name has a significance too. The depiction is also actually different from Takeda's and Gannosuke's move, in that not only the arms spins, the whole body spins (like Bison's move, indeed). Takeda's and Gannosuke's move is "body flying straight, arm spins".
It would turn out all kinds of hilarious if Senzui turns up in a military officer outfit like Bison.

Great Chapter!!!
Senzuis sillhoutte resembles Hongo, that being said, I suppose its safe to say that Shigure is also a member of Kuremisago?
I wonder what Kenichi meant when he said "He doesn't feel like a disciple"?

Miu's reaction to the duo was pretty funny. And they're pretty cocky for two people fighting on one.
I guess the silhouette of a new potential enemy confirms that this will not be the last arc.
