Even if they did fight soldiers, it's nice to see more master class action. Than again, we'll see master vs master action next week.

Probably didn't need to see every master fight random soldiers since we knew they'd win easily but I guess the action has finally started now. Would have been more interesting to see Kenichi's group fight soldiers as they would be more of a challenge.

Seitaro was the ONLY member that was not present in the battle. Perhaps he is the second-in command after Ganosuke Yokiou?
With all the master present and all the fighting going on...It makes me more curious to know who Kajimas "Other" Master is and why he wants to free shigure...
Also I wanna see Michael Schtilvay Vs Sai Kagerou, both dudes have farmer tools and both dudes are psycopaths! Would be good fight if you let them fight till the end!

I for one enjoyed the masters fighting soldiers. It's been a while since we are reminded exactly how much of a force multiplier each of these masters are, and how they can singlehandedly turn the tide of conflicts seemingly much bigger than a small band of people. Basically chapters like these reminds us that the plot makes sense and is consistent in-universe, and that masters are right to fear each other, because the accumulation of political and military power really doesn't matter much to superhero-grade people.

Lol this chapter just show how intense the master battle is going to be including Takeda's master going after Miu's Dad, if none of the masters on the good side dont end up dead or seriously injured then it seems like some op plot armor bull crap because the odds look WAY against them

Actually Ogata, your prediction makes a lot of sense. Schtilvay vs Kagerou is a great idea. I can already see Kagerou making some comment about also using a scythe, and he would be interested in collecting Schtilvay's weapon.
I totally forgot about James wanting revenge for his eye. Who took that again? Was it the One Shadow? Geeze...if he goes straight for the boss, he might end up being a demonstration fight for the badguy.

No doubt about it, both guys are in to "Harvesting" and both look pretty badass looking dudes, I have been a fan of Edward Scissor hand who Sai looks like and my favorite fictional Boxer is Steve Fox who Michael looks like in my opinion. That being said, even though I hate Michaels kill happy attitude, I will give him credit for getting in there and mixing it up with whoever and willing to be the first master to throw down on the spot.
That being said, I am pulling for Sai Kagerou 100 percent and no doubt it would be a great fight with two masters with long range weapons!
As far as James Shiba goes, it seems like he is being set up as Saigas punching bag, basicly James is there to have Saiga show of his martial art skills.
I can see Michael Schtilvay,James Shiba,Sai Kagerou and Akisame losing their life. Akisame and Shiba might end up getting killed by saiga, Schtilvay might get killed by hongo and Sai Kagerous character seems like its coming to full circle and in a way he his reversing his bad karma by helping ryo masters save the world.

This arc is kind of boring me to be honest. I really really really feel like the manga is wrapping up.

Don't worry bro, I woulden't miss it for the world
Lots of hsdk fans are saying that but to be honest, it just doesn't make sense to end the series with so many many questions not answered such as:
Akisames past
Kushinadas past and what made her go from destroying yami base to a OSNF member
Kensei Mas family, his alliance and his satsujinken rival
Jise Ro involvment that made Sougetsu Ma walk the path of satsujinken
Ogatas Undeveloped Sei-Dou technique
Some Hachiou master backstories other than Rin
These are the ones I can think of from top of my head and I feel that if the manga ends, there are LOTS of unanswered questions that goes with it.

Boring chapter, they wasted most of it on ransacking through the fodders. Like it was such a great thing of a deal. And minimized the entire factor of the other factions' appearance and as well as the disciples of both. It would have been better to have had a page of two with them going through the fodders then had they shown what's become of Hayato's battle.
That's the point, not everything needs a back story. And most of the back stories that have not been brought up as it is on being a chapter or two have been laid throughout the series itself, it's just a matter of connecting the dots.
Hell for one Shigure's back stories have been pilling up like crazy, seemingly having everyone she encounters have a past with her.
As far as Sei-Dou Goui goes, it's already been put through as dangerous technique towards having an explosive reaction on the body, and having Sho used it like he did and Rimi's adding to that Ryuto's new found way of stabilizing it, at best the technique itself has a huge limitation on time before it starts affecting the body.
