Hmm, so is he a Kousaka, or is he her biological brother?

I'm guessing biological

I really thought it was going to be her father for a second, there.

Kousaka Hachirobee's son, and Shigure's adoptive brother, I think

Same.

I want to say this guy is her adoptive brother. I don't think she had Tochumaru during the flashbacks with her father. This would mean it has to be her adoptive brother for him to know Tochumaru.
Whoa. I got SO many feels at that last page. Teared up a little. ;-; Really touching.

I wonder whose side the new kousaka is on though.

He's probably on Yami's side since he's a member of the Executioner Blade.

He's probably bad. Just randomly thinking on it, unless people like Saiga are secretly good, it seems like everyone of the Ryozanpaku masters has someone that's family or close on Yami's side. Actually, almost every major person in Yami has a connection to a master at Ryozanpaku.

So many feels in that last page indeed. Kenichi should have thought about how much he misses Shigure and now he needs to become strong enough to project HER XDDD

And Shigure just shows again how amazing she is, countering big movements with small, fluid movements.

He's probably on Yami's side since he's a member of the Executioner Blade.

Isn't there a chance that he infiltrated them?

Anyone else think it's ironic that her brother is almost completely covered by armour and yet Shigure finds it difficult to keep her clothes on for 3 panels in a row?

Isn't there a chance that he infiltrated them?

The same chance that Saiga, Sougetsu, Hongo, Ogata, Mikumo, and Agaard have of having infiltrated and are actually good.

They have to be complete opposites. No other way.

Eh, yeah there's a chance. I still think he's a loyal member, though.

As soon as he took off the helmet I knew what he was to her. Its my brother instinct... Anyways, I know as a brother, it would be akward to fight my own sister, let alone while she is pretty much completely naked. I will be somewhat disappointed if he becomes her enemy, but I won't be surprised. I hope big brotherly love will turn him to the light side.

aww man, why'd it end so soon

it was just getting interesting

think there is a lot more interesting to come;)

Well... That was unexpected! The fan service is getting to be a bit much for me because I keep getting distracted Kappa.png. But, still, they really put a good twist on that one when he took off that helmet.

For the last few chapters, the fanservice had been quite tolerable for me, actually. It was plot appropriate, and it did not distract from the action. Seriously, that scene where shigure clung to her opponent's spear and spun around it to get to his dead angle was beautifully done even if she showed her derriere 3, 4 times while doing so ;).

It reminds me of Sakaki and Hongo's backstory. Yami made an offer 1 chose to go for whatever reason, the other didn't.

I wouldn't be too surprised if something similar isn't present here. Except it's more like 'you join or we kill your family.'

Then again, he could just be bad.

Ok I now have a theory, Saiga created the nine fists to keep track of all the powerful satsujinken people, then everyone else decided to pretend to be satsujinken to infiltrate it and bring it down from the inside. In the end only 3% of Yami are legitimate members with the rest just waiting for a good chance to bring it down!...Going to be pretty awkward when they all turn out to be good guys!

That is the most funny theory I've heard in a long while :D

This would just be too hilarious. I wouldn't even be mad if this actually happened.

How could anyone be mad? It's cliché enough to actually be true

I totally agree with all of those statements there.
