I'm surprised that Eclair and Mycroft did so well thus far, actually. They are slightly below the Hachiou in skill, but they both landed one solid hit each, while received back one solid hit each.

Although there is something to be said about one weapon hit taking off a lot more "hit points" than an unarmed one...

Seitarou does look like the Akisame or Ma equivalent of the weapon group. He seems to be just slightly below Elder class, and is slightly above the other Hachiou members.

Even with the addition of Mycroft and "French-pastry-man", someone else will have to interfere with this battle to allow everyone to make it out alive. I think the Masters won't make it in time, leading to an appearnce of more lesser-shown characters to appear. I would imagine Kagerou as a possibility(EXTREME GARDENING), as well as Freya's grandfather; we could also see Jenny show up to track the flow of gold for the FBI or something, and James Shiba still needs some fight-scenes.

My alternative "Wild-ass-guess" is that Elder leads his opponent to the scene of this battle while still fighting him the whole way there, lol.

I am excited now! Mycroft is silyl but still a very well deisgend character. Interestign having a non-asian martial artist now.

So the fight is a little more even now. But Shigure doesn't seem to think so.

I don't see any possibility of Shigure dying, actually? It seems to me that she has been fighting very strategically.

Shigure appeared to easily manhandle (womanhandle! XD) the bow user without going nearly all out. Case in point, her clothes are still all intact! This fight didn't push Shigure nearly as much as the Sai Kagerou fight. Why didn't shigure disable the bow user then?

Because if the did, the other 6 would jump in, possibly all at once, and she would lose for sure then. As it stand, the other 6 did not retaliate to her desperate preemptive attack only because they don't want to sink the ship (which is entirely possible given their strengths)

Still not a fan of Mycroft's explosion-fu but the explanation of how he got it helps a little. I wanted him to be a Bartitsu user (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartitsu) what with the whole Sherlock Holmes inspired name and look.

If any "good" guy has to die I guess Mycroft would be best. 

I like Mycroft, though. I wouldn't mind if Chris kicked the bucket.

Chris kicking the bucket makes more sense, since it would be his redeeming moment.

How about Mycroft dies leaving Chris heartbroken at the loss of his only friend, realises that the killing fist is wrong, moves in with Ryozanpaku and becomes Kenichi's teacher? Forcing Kenichi to add some Savate gear to his outfit?

A highly unlikely but strangely very awesome possibility! If that happens, this manga just suddenly become 100% exciting again.

Now if Matsuena-san reads this forum and takes a suggestion or two (especially the part about not giving water run to everybody).
