Honoka looks older! :D

I really look forward to the fight against the 4 Ryo masters and the 7 Yami. But the armed division is starting to become interesting to me since I'm already liking this new guy. (before I couldn't care less about weapon users)

Also, dammit Saiga!! Acknowledge Akisame already and say hello!

Finally, i large master-level fight could start soon. I'm guessing Saiga will sit out and watch with a bored look on his face.

I wonder if there will be any weapon-master showdowns? Maybe Shigure, Freya's grandfather, Jennifer, and Sai could all fight members of the executioner blade at some point.

This new guy just can't grow on me. He is basically a much less cool version of Sai Kagerou. Kagerou has an interesting, "accidentally murderous but actually due to his overly simplistic/innocent nature (like an Apachai who went down the wrong path)."

This new guys just seems like a psychotic murderer through and through.

One of the reasons i like HSDK is because all of the Satsujinken followers, even those who walked the path of Ashura, and the even worse path of Gedou (demon), had reasons, either psychological or ideological, to become what they are. I want to see this guy's motives first before liking him...

Saiga will probably sit out this fight.

I actually look forward to Ryo holding their own 4 against 6 while Saiga carries out his plan. Remember we saw a "perfect pair" in Sasaki and Hongou (closest of friends/rivals) able to push back Jenazad while being severely injured. Now this would be a 4-person formation!

Sorry for spamming, but I must say something. How could I miss this! I love how with a single word "Apa", Apachai said more and touched Agaard more than the long speeches of the other masters XDDDD.

Yea and more boyish too? Sad.

Yea it's cliche. The big dog always comes out last. Saiga probably will sit out of the fight until near the end of battle, because he's the "boss".

This is definitely intense. Let's see who's missing and could show up:

Yami:

Alexander

Diego Carlo

(both are in big lock, but can supposedly escape)

Ryo+allies:

James Shiba (Takeda's master)

Danki Kugatachi (Freya's grandfather)

Jennifer Grey (Shio's fiance?)

Sai Kagerou

All of the Shinpaku alliance

Don't forget the elder and weapons team leader are fighting too

There are some minor characters too, but they probably won't show up and aren't worth mentioning. Can't wait to see how this arc/battles play out! This is going to be epic!

I feel like nothing happened, and yet it was extremely badass at the same time. Weird. I like that the villains actually acknowledged the strength of the heroes' power up instead of just cackling maniacally and other such cliches. It makes them seem more like true martial artists and a little less like super villains, which is nice for this setting. (Don't get me wrong, I love my super villains; when they are in their proper context that is.) I'm not the least bit surprised to see Hongo want to fight first out of the YAMI. He is a hotblooded one. And Saiga is makign me mad. What's with him? Does he have a superiority complex?

Good question probally does.

APA!

Hope Saiga has not superiority but Itachi complex :P

This just occurred to me, but what if the OSNF just "locked up" the Elder into fighting so that Saiga wouldn't have to face him yet and explain himself and they just found the perfect excuse to again "lock" him up in fighting?

What if... someone dies?

Chapter's out at MangaStream for those who care.

I can't believe im late on this

all I can say was that it was just as good chapter and shigure is just...yush!

Aside from the Shigure part, this was just a slightly entertaining set up chapter for me.

I find it sad that Hongo was the only one who actually suggested to work together to take on the Ryo-Pack but everyone disregards him. He should leave them. He really doesn't have much of a reason to stay, other than for Hajime...

Sehrul mentioned that If the OSNF tried to fight together, they would actually get weaker.

Excellent observation!

But they rebutted that a team up wouldn't work since they never train together, and as such would only hinder each other in combat.

Hongo would not have spoken if he had no reason to. Especially to them after they dissed Sho...

Excellent observation!

Thanks.

I see Hongo's attempt to suggest a plan as being his humanity showing itself. He has a basic level of trust on his "comrades", at least to the extend that he take them as competent adults.

The rest, however, are all utterly self-centered and never for a second considered the OSNF as one group.

That is so true.. You gave may have inspired me to Rp as him again..

But they rebutted that a team up wouldn't work since they never train together, and as such would only hinder each other in combat.

You also have to remember that Sho trained with them, and based from the flashback in the Hongo vs. Jenazard, Sho often talks about his training with the other masters. Hongo should have some sort knowledge of them by that.

I think emotion has a lot to do with it. The 4 masters arent just fighting for themselves, they are also fighting for each other because of the bond they have they can gain even more power because off thier will to protect each other. Where with the OSNF i think they all could really care less if one on them dies they have no emotional connection. Youd be surprised at what someone can do when they are willing to give there lives to protect someone
