Interesting chapter, but I guess making armor was more logical than Shigure making weapons for them and then training them with those weapons.

Seems as if Yomi is having some serious breakdowns, but I don't think the weapon and non-weapon users like each other anyway. Not sure if that was actually mentioned a while ago or if I'm just making it up. It's kind of obvious they don't trust each other at the moment.

Didn't much like the part on how Kenichi kept thinking that she was making weapons even after he was told that she wasn't. It's like he seems to have been dumbed down a bit lately.

A better question is whether or not Shigure will introduce us to more weapon user masters that we haven't seen before or if all the master calibur fighting will be done by Ryozanpaku's masters.

Freya's father isn't senile like he leads everyone to believe it's possible he might show up again and get involved.

ya Freya's grandfather is in the super master class too. He could take on Yami bases on his own without any apparent effort, and I want to see more of him. He is funny.

Although I am itching to see more of Ma Kensei. A character with so much potential, being so underutilized.

Edit: there used to be a discussion on mangafox forum on who will fight Kushinada, Akisame (similar style) or Kensei (the only one who nearly matched her speed, short of the Elder himself) or Shigure (closed the gap in skill and speed by extremely keen survival instincts).

I just realize that that could play out as an even more exaggerated version of the competition for the swordlady fight. Akisame (just out of stubborness and playful competition) and Ma (out of his ero spirit) engaged in a friendly duel to decide who will fight Kushinada. They fought to a standstill and both tired out, and so the one finally fighting will be Shigure

I hope so badly that this scenario will play out eventually.

I hope it's some kind of modern armor that's not too intrusive. Renka and Miu will of course be getting something skimpy that we'll all be complaining about. Well not because of Renka though...Renka could spend the rest of the series naked and I would be happy.
