Looks like there will be training by shigure :D

and rimi and ryuto, just funny

Man, I thought this "Rimi tries to impress the much older man" thing was over with Ogata. Speaking of Rimi, she's looking much better than Ryuto did after he used Seidou Gouitsu.

It was good to see Diego Carlo again. He was even wearing a mask! Alexander They should be in more secure prisons, though.

Which disciple from Kenichi's side will have the honor of fighting that lady disciple? The dude disciple looks lame and his hair reminds me of Lugh. I don't like Lugh.

I wonder what this "Shigure-chan Special" is. Is it a secret battle formation? Perhaps a special kind of training of some sort? And did anyone else notice Touchumaru chilling on the roof with that bunny?

I think we have a new gag. That is if Rimi sticks around, which I hope she does.

I'm super excited for the coming chapters. We're gonna get to see Shigure doing awesome things again... I hope she has to fight a jouster again.

Rimi in a nurses outfit...guys. I'm in love.

Since by manga standard, I qualify as an "older man" by now (Apachai's age), I can legitimately fantasize Rimi dressing up to impress me :D

It's interesting to note that ethics is a source of strength in this manga. Ryozanpaku holds itself to the strictest code of ethics, and so its masters have to constantly stay on top of the game the most, and so arguably they are the strongest group around while not having a lot of resources. The OSNF individually hold themselves to various levels of ethics, but still higher than the weapon group's and so they are as a whole stronger than the weapon masters (or at least the one we have seen so far).

Ha, i was right about the upcoming Shigure-Service! :D

So far, the weapon-team doesn't look too interesting, but we've yet to see these "executioner blade" people.

I'm guessing Freya will play a bigger role in this next arc, being the only Shinpaku-member who uses a weapon. (that, and she spent most of the last arc with her face in Ryuto's lap...)

Hmm...Is this weapon master the one who escaped from Hayato?  The one who managed to save his friends at the cost of leaving behind his swords?  It was quite a compliment to his skills to be able to do that.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the same guy.

I want a Shigure-chan special.  :D

I literally lol at ryuto telling Akisame he could punch rimi for her outfit...also interesting to see that Big Lock isnt whats keeping the members of the one shadow in its just their prides as martial artist. Wonder how long before they reunite with the rest of the fists

You'll have to wait in line. :troll:

I didn't even think of them actually escaping. Would Ryozanpaku have to fight those two all over again?

I actually have wanted to see some of Kenichi's friends in the Shinpaku Alliance get training from Ryozanpaku. I don't think it's only going to be the Weapons Team though, I have a feeling they all will be trained and in a similar manner as Kenichi. It probably won't be as extreme for the others, but I can definitely see them all learning some new skills and possibly kearning how to deflect weapons the same way Kenichi was taught. Though, we'll have to wait for the next chapter or two to find out.

That sir is a question i have also been pondering. Im hoping if they do Ryozanpaku will have a few extra masters on their side, perhaps a new weapons master. Any idea who trained shigure? If i remember correctly her father died when she was young so who taught her all the weapons or is she just a natural? I know they call her a prodigy but so is apachi and he still had a master in a sense.

I am already not particularly impressed with the weapon disciples by the fact that they wore pretty thick clothings in the snow (they are not being expected to infiltrate the Lock, so there is no reason for them not to challenge their endurance), and they talk too much outloud instead of observing their surroundings and their master's action (poor attitude to problem solving).

I PM'd you some interesting videos ;)

@Darkwing_Duck

A few light-side weapon masters have been introduced: Shigure's master, the old man who is the last of Kousaka-style blademaster, whose lastname Shigure took up, and Freya's grandfather.

I kinda don't want too many of the light side weapon masters to show up though, because the standard RZ masters are already so powerful.

But I can see the last arc being the all out arc, where absolutely all the masters both sides come out in a mass battle of superhumans, perhaps over some critical events being set off that will start WW3, and they fought one another to a stalemate around a city, and only the disciple groups are free enough to actually stop whatever it is that is happening to happen. (and they fight each other.

Rimi's just silly. She might end up becoming comic relief. I mean it's not like she's a challenge to anyone. Just saying.

Actually if Matsuena wants to, he can develop Rimi very far. In terms of power, she is arguably the second or third most powerful disciple in the series currently. At absolute max power, she is very nearly Miu's equal. Rimi relied on Seidou Gouitsu, but that is not an unfair advantage per se, because Miu had half a lifetime more fighting experience.

And Miu is still right now the strongest disciple, perhaps inferior only to "Miu-protecting Kenichi" and "Unconscious Kenichi"

I agree with you on that and "Unconscious Kenichi" is the strongest because Kenichi does not hold back when he fights.

are you just talking about disciples of the Katsujin? Cuz we still havent seen the power of the first fists disciple.

oh yes, everything that I say is excluding Kajima. We haven't seen him yet, but with the way he casually dropped down and then stopped his entire body weight upside down with his toes (something that we often see Shigure does) and even be able to swing around while talking to Koukin, I would put him at the low master class (something like "Physical strength near that of Shigure, but battle experience and speed in the expert range", which would far outclass anyone in the disciple class so far)

Yea i assumed he was a very high level disciple thats why i was a little confused he wasnt mentioned in your top 3 strongest assessment lol.

You guys saying top disciples and you make no mention of Renka? As far as I can tell, she is one of the most powerful young fighters.

This chapter seemed mostly a transition chapter, though I acknowledge the need for one.I wonder if we'll get back to some normal life stuff for a bit before the next huge arc. Could be nice to see the Shinpaku Alliance just hanging out at their favorite restaurateur again. Plus, I want to know if Hermit and Chikage are still the Shinpaku's friends.

I want it now.
