Anyway, this was a nice chapter. It was finally revealed where Rimi's body has been since chapter 516. I guess Ryuto just left her lying there. Although we don't know yet, I'm guessing she's still alive. She'll be terribly crippled and her ki will be messed up; even worse than Ryuto. Or she could be dead and they're going to give her a proper burial.

I'm happy that Ogata wasn't trolled at the end of the fight. Poor Tanaka, though. His death was brutal. That could've been Kenichi or Ryuto if they hadn't been saved. The ending with Tanaka and his family was a nice touch.

It was nice to see Berserker save Ryuto. Those two should be friends.

I guess this ends Ryuto's YOMI days and his ties with Ogata. Ogata seemed pretty disappointed that Ryuto wouldn't be his disciple anymore. He didn't even try to say anything to Ryuto. Heck, he was almost like a father to Ryuto. I remember way back in chapter 184 when there was a mysterious YOMI member in a wheelchair at one of Sho's meetings. I wonder what this means for Ryuto, though. He needs a new master. I still wish he could've stayed with Ogata, but this is good, too. But, I did love those panels of Ryuto and Ogata glaring at each other. Ryuto looked cool with his hair blowing in the wind. I wish the scan was of higher quality because you can barely see Ogata's face!

I liked how the narrator described Nijima's sensor powers. That gave me a good laugh.

YOMI lost three members during this fight. I wonder how Kajima will react to this. I also wonder how he'll react to learning that Ryuto can still walk. He'd probably laugh it all off. He seems like a jolly guy.

Ryozanpaku will be in for a surprise when they see Kenichi and Co. all beaten and bloody. I'm guessing now will be the time for Ryuto to finally give his info on YOMI. There's nothing to interrupt him now.

Oh, and Renka is adorable.

the fact that Kensei seemed to be completely unharmed is slightly disappointing to me, if only because those are plot details that should be explained or shown even in one page (say, showing that Kensei is wounded but explaining that things that would count as serious injuries to a normal person would be a minor inconvenience to a supermaster).

My hunch about Berserker's true strength seemed to be vindicated a bit here, as we saw him casually punched / lifted a freaking WALL falling onto Ryuto and Rimi with one hand. No, not just a wall... a BURNING wall.

And indeed, the Nijima sequence was funny and cute. Now we need an arc centered on Nijima and his character development toward heroism! Also, we need Nijima x Renka Renka needs proper love.

So I guess Tanaka just went out like that? That was anticlimactic. I'm glad the arc is over though. Well, we hope it's over.

I can't believe Ryuto just let Rimi get surrounded by fire like that unless it was his plan all along. He probably thinks she's dead (still hasn't been confirmed, I don't think) and wanted to die too. Berserker kind of ruined that, but it also sort of cemented that Ryuto is now going to join Kenichi and the SA.

Glad all this is over, good to see Nejima and my lovely Renka again. I am very much leaning towards shipping these two now... Who'd have thought?! Where the hell is Seigfreid, Hermit, and Takeda though? Hermit is the only YOMI member that actually won his round too....

The arc is definitely over. The Shinpaku Alliance is injured, Tanaka is dead, and Yami has left the amusement park.

Ryuto seemed pretty tired. Just a few moments ago, he couldn't move at all. I think he was trying to get her away from the wall, but couldn't move fast enough.

Ah, ye with little faith. Was I also the one who constantly extolled the virtues and beauty of Rimi? Now, why is Nijima great for Renka?

Renka likes to chase moving things. Nijima is clearly the fastest runner in the disciple class except perhaps for Rimi.

Renka is the daughter and possible future leader of a great martial arts alliance. Nijima is the greatest leader among the disciple class.

Renka is serious, earnest, upstanding, and heroic. Nijima is opportunistic, and has a heroic core but too cowardly to actually bring it out. Renka will want to conquer him and change him for the better!

Also opposites attract!

I'm still hoping Ryuto will get a new suit. Maybe a darker color than his original white one? He also needs a new pair of glasses since he tossed his away before he fought Ogata.

True, Nejima is not handsome enough or a strong martial artists, but he does have higher combat prowess than most of the martial artists simply because he's intelligent and willing to use tactics and tricks. I like Renka and Nejima's interactions a lot so far, so I don't see their shipping as totally impossible. But I still would pick someone like Hermit or Seig as her ideal companion...

So... is Rimi still dead? She sure looks it. And Tanaka's dead. Can't believe the manga finally actually killed characters. (Junazard doesn't count since he's vile beyond measure.) I am excited as to what will happen next. Hopefully an arc that is not dragged out so much, or at least lengthy for good reason.

It looks to me like the elbow strike was so powerful that it shattered the top (the weakest part) of Tanaka's skull. About the scar, I think it may end up being revealed later, in a more dramatic fashion, when Ogata has a moment of reflection.

I'm still surprised that a good guy actually died for once. Though there's still the chance that he pulls a Apachai. 

I can't wait to see cyborg Sho meet headless Tanaka.

Ah, the good ol' Mary Jane effect: If a 'loser' like Peter Parker can get a babe like MJ, than we all have hope.

I think Nejima pairs up with her well because he is her opposite in many ways, being not beautiful, brains before brawn, and a good deal less open with his sexuality. Opposites attract, ya know?

But then I can't help but pair her with handsome men like Seig or Hermit, cause I know it would be super hot.

I am quite excited about the chances of seeing Berserker vs Ryuto in an all out fight. I was always curious as to how close their strengths were being 1st and 2nd fists.

Back in the Ragnarok arc, as the First Fist, Ryuto was much stronger than Berserker and the other fists.

Since Berserker is going to learn the rest of Ryuto's techniques from Ogata, Ryuto needs to continue training with a master if he wants to keep up. I expect Berserker to learn Seidou Gouitsu, too.

Should I start calling Berserker, Shougo, now?

I don't think Berserker is going to learn the techniques that Ryuto already has, but whatever Ogata was going to teach him. We're not going to see Berserker using the Gungnir technique for example, but something new.

And is Thor carrying Lugh in this panel? I think that's Takeda he's holding on his right shoulder.
