There is something hilarious about Lugh getting his ass beat like this. So, I guess his chances of beating Takeda have gotten much lower.

Probably to watch his disciples fight. He was there for Ryuto's fight with Kenichi, why not be there to see his disciples take down the Shinpaku Alliance?

Maybe he just wanted to get a better look at the end of the fight. This is the only one that looks close to ending, so he's probably going to move from fight to fight until they're all over. (unless SOMEONE interrupts him...)

Oh, and liked the way that Takeda released his ki.

A lot can happen in a chapter or two. Even though Takeda is starting to control his ki it does not necessarily give him a large advantage. Lugh is still very capable of killing Takeda and all he needs is just one good opportunity to do so. I would go as far to say that it is 50/50 now while before Takeda started to uilize his ki it was almost a guaranteed loss.

Now in the case that Lugh is defeated it would be interesting to see how Ogata will react. It certainly would be good motivation for the disciples to fight to the death if Ogata plans to dispose of them if they lose. However, I also don't see Ogata as the type to waste such "potential". If he does try to it would be awesome to see a Ryouzanpaku master or Tanaka to jump in at that point.

Finally found time to read this.

I think he'd get rid of them only if they outlived their usefulness. I think Lugh has enough talent that Ogata wouldn't toss him for one loss.

I don't really see Ogata as the type to kill his disciples for failure, especially when you take into consideration that Ryuto is still around, despite him losing AND getting paralyzed.

Ogata what a hypocrit first he's all like "oh no i cant get involved in my disciples fight." Then he turns around and is all " i gotta help my shitty disciple even thou im not suppose to" i wonder if the dude isnt like sensui from yuyu hakusho.

Ogata is all about rule breaking, so I'm not surprised he lacks personal integrity. Plus, Kenichi's masters give Kenichi fighting advice, even while otherwise refraining from helping outright.
