HSDK Battle 505 Released

That was an ok chapter I guess, and now I think they reach expert level when they learn to start releasing they're ki on that scale

I get the feeling that since Miu and Rimi are giving a textbook example of a dou vs dou fight, that this chapter may be hinting at Takeda and Lugh going full on sei vs sei soon. Takeda just still doesn't seem to be giving it all he has yet which I assume is because Lugh's weirdness is preventing him from getting into his rhythm but the mention of Kenichi's sei-ness should give Takeda a bit of inspiration and get his ryuusei seikuken going. What Odin said about Lugh is interesting though.

The Shigure splash page is very nice. I guess the next one will be Apachai or Hayato fanservice.

Ryuto looks like a boss sitting on his throne. He's already finished his opponent and is just chillin. I wonder what he has to say, though. And I wonder how long he's going to keep Freya like that.

Rimi seems rather calm for someone who has released their Dou Ki. When she and Miu landed on the lamp posts, Miu shattered hers, while Rimi landed gracefully on one foot. And it seems Miu's bikini bottom is about to tear off.

It's kind of weird that Rimi is so calm. I think that might be a sign that Miu's Dou ki is actually a lot stronger than Rimi's and not on par with it like was thought and that she's dominating Rimi.


I guess the next chapter will be Takeda vs. Lugh. Maybe they'll both release their Sei ki. I definitely think Lugh will. Takeda will more than likely try to match that.

Well, Rimi is holding her own against Miu, so that's good. It's not like Kenichi's first fight with Kokin or anything like that.

Maybe Miu's sixth sense has been that attack trail stuff that was shown when Apachai fought the guy with the bird. Almost seems plausible when you think of how she threw her hands back to stop Rimi last chapter.

I think every hero has a good chance of winning, as Kenichi has been given his own very powerful opponent, unlike previous arcs, where you knew Kenichi would intervene. He'll be too busy here, so the others may actually get to shine for once. I would appreciate that anyways. takeda has been getting more development now, so it would be a shame to see it all end in another loss for him.

As for Siegfried vs Lugh, I believe Lugh's abilities wouldn't get to shine as much against an equally weird fighter, so that maybe one reason for the current matchups. Plus, Takeda can grow more against an oddball style than a conventional style. I am pro-Takeda if you can't tell...

Oh, and it looks like another full on fanservice fight is in the making. But Rimi's clothes are too durable so far...

Rimi's clothes withstood water so they're already more resilient than Miu's battle suit.

I don't really see any of these fights getting further rematches(That's why Hermit isn't fighting Kenichi this time; that will happen later), so I assume most of them will play out until the end. The only one I think is almost sure to be interrupted is Rimi VS Miu; Ryuto already senses it, so we just have to wait for Kenichi and Berzerker to fight a bit before he notices as well.

All that said, there are too many fights going on for everyone in the Shinpaku to all win. SOMEONE has to lose. I think Takeda will win, and Kenichi will have to win so he can go after Miu. Hermit might beat Siegfried, but neither of them needs to beat the other for plot development, so it's a tossup. Renka might lose if Matsuena wants to give her character some more development in the near future (a trip to China after a humiliating defeat?) Ukita, Kisara, and Shiratori can't beat Chikage at full strength, but I don't see her killing any of them either.

As for someone dying, that's a slim chance with the current matchups(unless someone intercepts a killing-blow during the Rimi-Miu fight), but it becomes increasingly plausible if someone we haven't seen yet steps in, like Mikumo could if Chikage chickens out at the last minute; there's also Saiga's disciple Kajima, who we haven't seen in a while.

If Takeda wins here, what was all that "Lugh being much stronger" and "needing secret boxing training to defeat him" about?

I have this weird feeling Matsuena's going to make Kenichi lose to Berserker's Dou Ki.... Yeah anyway The Lugh vs. Takeda fight looks really good but releasing his Ki of Sei isn't that what dou fighters do?
