I think it might have been. I don't remember Kenichi learning any other moves that use those kinds of movements that push air. At least I think when Kensei did it, he only pushed air.

Considering what Matsuena's doing with the recent splash pages, Jenny is a prime candidate for a splash page.

The announcement probably was the OVA,but is it wrong to want the announcement to be a sequel anime series,with the DofD Tournament?

The splash page could maybe be a requirement by his editor. They mentioned something like that is Bakuman where the chapter needs to have atleast 2-3 skirt shots, etc. And he's problably just doing a themed cover using every girl from the series til this point (who knows I just assume of course).

Anyways, I liked the chapter, I don't recognize Kenichi's technique might be something original that will be mentioned later. He has done so in the past with Mubyoshi. I kinda do want to see the rematach for Takeda and Lugh now that they've established themselves as rivals. And I think I realized something about Ukita's role in the group, He's pretty much the friend with the Undying loyalty trope. He's not strong like the rest but he's also the one who is willing to sacrifice himself for them with no hesitation.
