HSDK Battle 494 Released

Who wanted to see Takeda take the lead in the fight? Unless he's going to properly use his Ryuusei Seikuken or maybe his Muboshi I think he's going to be in trouble (if he doesn't tag out instead).

I was kind of annoyed when Takeda stepped in Kenichi's way. There was something about the way he was acting that bothered me.

Lugh is very interesting. He seems to be able to see very well for someone who is blind.

Kind of bummed that Sieg isn't going to be the one to fight Lugh. I mean, it's fine that Takeda is going to, because it's about time anyone but Kenichi or Miu fought, but I like Sieg more and he hasn't been featured in a fight in a really really long time.

Lugh should totally redisable Takeda's left arm. That would be an excellent end to the fight.

I like Takeda, and I think Takeda taking the match is a good move. I think that given who his master is, it's possible there is more to his techniques now that he has had more time to practice since last fighting Kenichi the second time and he came fairly close if you remember. Also, remember that he wears a sort of custom brace that limits his movements so he's probably not fighting at full strength.

I think that he also understands that if he does lose by some chance, He atleast allowed both Kenichi and Sieg to study Lugh's movements possibly finding a weakness to his technique ( so far it looks like Lugh needs to get very close to fight). I don't think Takeda is meant to win this figth, but I don't think he's meant to lose either. I think the fight is meant to be cut short by interfierence by someone else. I think this fight is meant to inspire the other members of the Shinpaku Alliance and show them just how bad their situation is going to get soon.

I don't thin Takeda was wearing the harness, or Lugh would have probably noticed, either from hearing the straps, or feeling when he attacked.

I wanted Sieg to fight him! A submission expert vs a guy with extreme flexibility; it would have made more sense.

After he erased that fear probably he'll lose or kenichi will enter the battle and takeda will sit since he can't argue with serious kenichi. In the end, some of them got exposure like Sieg who showed that he wont go down so easily, Thor who states that Sumo isn't for softies since he's used to dislocated joints, Ukita who shows his courage(or recklessness), Takeda who simply showed his improvement. Then Kenichi will be the finale. But imo this match won't also reach conclusion since Odin already told him that they must go and Lugh also states that he's there just to check Shinpaku's abilities.

Yeah as fun as it always is watching Sieg fight, the psychological aspect of Takeda still subconciously protecting his left arm which is stopping him from perfecting his movements against someone whose whole style is based on breaking bones makes it a more interesting bout. It's a lesser version of Kenichi having to get over his fear after the Tirawit fight. I'm sure the rest of Shinpaku will get moments to shine again some day. Plus I think pure striker vs pure grappler is still interesting, I also think even though Siegfried showed improvements against being grabbed in the DofD fight it's still a weak point for him which makes sense if you think about it, he can't spin to counter if your holding him still.

I agree with Kaio-ken. Also, Sieg is strong but he's not immortal. At this point, Lugh would more likely make double sure to kill him if he was to fight again. You can't fake broken bones or gouged eyes, Lugh isn't holding back one bit from what is shown on the last 2 chapters. I think that's why Takeda wants to fight him, he wants to put himself in a situation where he has little chance of coming out. Similar to when he fought those weapon users with Kisara and Freya.

Hmm, don't u think the masters are done with the attack since Ogata already fleed away? Im sure they are just watching from afar like they always do in Kenichi's battle. So if anything serious will happen(more serious than sieg's neck twisted) they will come to the rescue.

I completely forgot about the braces. I personally don't like the whole psychological approach that Lugh is taking. It's so...not hsdk. You know what I mean?
