HSDK Battle 485 Released

Well..I suppose this kind of chapter was necessary to keep Kenichi flowing, but it's really not my thing. Pretty funny stuff from Miu and Nijima, but I'm really not interested in any of these characters for the most part. When did Shiratori become strong though? I'll admit he's kind of pissing me off. Ukita might take this as a reason to get some training of his own. Maybe we'll be introduced to a judo master that is katsujinken.

Also screw these guys and all their watermarking. Makes you wish Mangastream cared more about HSDK.

Well really, there was no indication what was going to happen in this chapter based on the end of the last one. So this chapter is pretty necessary to start up a new story while Rimi is away training. I think this chapter may be pretty important to start some development for Ukita. I think it's about time Ukita got a master and became stronger.

I'm glad Shiratori didn't only piss me off. He can't even let Ukita have his moment. I guess this is a big reason I want Ukita to get stronger. I want to see him fight Shiratori, even if he is part of the alliance. Also, the translator had an interesting note on the last page. What if Shiratori is the unknown member of Titan?

Oh, and Miu and Kisara's part made me laugh. Best part of the chapter. :<

hmm Well this was somewhat of a funny chapter however... The hair style doesn't match the 3rd guy.

Him being the thid member? I don't know...I'm more interested in it being someone we haven't seen yet. Besides Ogata goes after people with talent. I doubt shiratori was shown to him as someone with talent since he was always just Kisara's aide.

Anyway, I am not a Kisara fan. I'm not interested in her personality, not into the whole cat thing and I don't find her to be particularly cute either. But this...this is an exception.

I'd rather it be someone we don't know yet. Making it someone we already know would be pretty lazy... and also pretty uninteresting. It was an interesting point though. Good on you, translator.

Ogata has 2 mystery disciples, but we already know one of them is Berzerker just from his oultine. It' the other one we don't know at all. Making it Shiratori might add to the drama, with Ukita fighting him at some point. Still, that would require Ukita to learn from someone, and the only one I can think of is Akisame.(Although I'd be surprised if Chikage wasn't involved somehow if theres a short Ukita arc)

Anyway, Shiratori is being too much of a Buzz Killington to go without getting some kind of an @$$-kicking.

I just want Ukita to slam Shiratori to death. Seriously I don't care about Ukita x Kisara at all but this has really got me frustrated. >.<;

It seems weird that Shiratori is just now showing more skill. In the Ragnoroak arc, he was supposedly no stronger than Tsuji was originally. Fow him to get so much stronger on his own wouldn't make sense; Afterall, Ukita and the others had actual combat experience to help them grow.

Well it's not entirely out of the question for Shiratori to have been training himself all this time. If anything it's like a plot element for Ukita to get stronger. It could also be that these assassins aren't that great. Even though Shiba is a jerk I'm pretty sure he wouldn't send them after his disciple if he thought they were out of his league.

And besides, this isn't Fairy Tail. Girl on girl pairings don't work for HSDK.

Yes they would. And maybe by some strange twist of events (like Rimi beating Miu up and Miu's brain becoming addled more), that could happen.

Does anyone know what that valkarie on page 2 (or 3 if you count the title page) is kyaah-ing and blushing over. Back to the girl on girl thing I hope it's over the other valkarie she's talking to and not Kenichi or Ukita their love lives are complicated enough!

I'm interested in where all these love triangle situations are going. Is it going to all stay under the surface or in the end are we going to see some friendships break down over it all.

As for Shiratori he went in with a flashy kick at the end there, possible his martial art is tae kwon do either from mimicking/being trained by Kisara or another reason (or could just be coincidence).

and most importantly in that chapter we learnt that Shiba's moustache has a life of it's own!

My vote for the most annoying character in this chapter goes to Shiratori. I would laugh if he just pretended to be an able fighter to impress Kisara and get his ass haded to him in the next chapter.

Yay to Chiba-sensei for getting into trouble and leaving it to his poor disciple to clean up this mess.

I felt sorry for Ukita, he tried so hard to impress Kisara just to be upstaged by a pretty boy. If you gotta go through that much trouble for a girl and she doesn't even acknowledge your feelings, she isn't worth it.

When the at that point in the story unknown members of Yami were shown, they looked like that: just a vague human shadow without any features.

I wonder what reasons Shiratori would have to join Yomi. I can't see him doing that. besides I'm sure Niijima and maybe Natsu would know about it.

I don't think they would know about it because Titan might not be tightly connected with the main yomi disciples.
