The subbed version of the third OVA of History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi has been released! The third OVA focuses on the Christopher Eclair arc, or the first arc in the Yami/YOMI saga.

yeah they didn't even give Kenichi his new dougi yet, which he suppose to have in ova 3, saving for season 3 perhaps?

Nice catch. We can only hope though. I'd prefer a season 3 over multiple endless OVAs.

I don't see how that's smart at all though. I think it only makes it less likely that the series would gather enough support for a third season.

The things they're putting in the OVAs make it seem like there's for sure going to be another season, but we've yet to have an announcement. I say, at worst, we'll get another OVA with no new season announcement. At best, new season announcement sometime next year.

When was OVA 1 announced? Anyone remember?

So I finally got a chance to watch the whole thing. Holy crap, they changed a lot. I was wondering how they were going to fit it into a half hour and I guess we saw the answer to that question. Take everything out.

I don't know, I wasn't really impressed with it. Definitely not something I would spend $50 on. I mean flame throwers coming out of sakaki's punches pretty much ruined the whole thing for me. I think the best part in the fights was when Miu was fighting off the two girls. She had some really nice moves there.

OMG if that was true i'd be speechless.
Yeah they changed alot but it still was good minus Sakaki's Fire Punch,though i thought it was just for affect.

Man, I haven't even seen OVA 01, yet. I only broke down and watched OVA 02 after I heard Raichi was in it. I didn't really like the Eclair Arc, so I don't know when I'll watch this.

What's with this Sakaki Fire Punch everyone's talking about? It sounds like something he'd actually do. :lmao:

All of his punches at the end had flames coming out of them. His hand wasn't even touching eclair. It was just the flames.

Doesn't sound very street brawlerish to me.

At least there was one unrealistic thing that was really awesome. Éclair running beside the car. That whole part was awesome.
