HDSK Volume 47 Release Date

Volume 47 of History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi will be released on June 18th, 2012. This volume will come bundled with the second OVA. You can view the update here along with the new volume cover which features Renka and Li Raichi.

Sweet. Hopefully the ova gets uploaded pretty quickly after its release. Kinda excited for this one.

It doesn't mean that at all. Volume 47 will cover chapters 438-447 if my math is correct. So the cover has nothing to do with the contents this time.

It's because the cover of Volume 46 has Sakaki and Hongo and all of Volume 47 will finish up that fight and include the part where Miu gets kidnapped. So really they should've had Miu's naked body flying around the cover since that's basically what 446 and 447 were.

I guess Raichi & Renka are the cover of the outer case and something related to the actual content will be featured on the manga, like with vol. 46.

I don't even remember the blonde guy's name.. also young Sakaki doesn't look right colored in to me. I thought his hair was a different color?

Right. That's the cover of the volume/ova bundle. Like I said earlier there's no reason for Renka or Li Raichi to be on the cover since they're not in the corresponding chapters.

I didn't know there had to be a reason for them to be on the cover. No one would complain.

Ah well. They're both supposed to be in the ova, so I guess it does make sense.
