Well if they are only sending soldier's then that's not going to be a problem for either Kenichi or Miu. Not unless they send a master to go after the two of them. In which likely would be a fodder master class for Ryouzanpaku seeing as their main forces are scattered all over.

I don't think they will succeed either if they aim for Ken and Miu at home. In fact, I would think that this will very likely be how the Ryu masters find out where Shigure is and go rescue her.

I still believe that there will be one or two disciple vs. master fights in this arc though. Ken+Miu vs. fodder master.

Well, Renka and 2 other disciple fighter took down a weapon fodder master once (relatively easily too), so Ken+Miu should pull it off.

I thought the armed division of Yomi would try to take him. Whatever, still waiting for Sieg's next bath in dragon blood.

While going through volume 57 today I stumbled across this page.

From left to right we've got a Chinese weapons master, a German master, a French master, an English master and one from India.

Chinese and Indian guy fought the disciples. French and English masters went against Akisame and Sakaki, but what happened to the last one? Did he fight somewhere in one panel and I missed him? Or was his plotline scrapped, because the manga got cancelled? Probably the latter. Now I want to know what Matsuena had planned for him.
The list of plotholes caused by the cancellations grows longer and longer. I wonder when they told him about it. This chapter was published in late autumn 2013 and at that point of the story everything is still going at an okay pace that is not as rushed as the last chapters.
