I think it just repeats them same attack you did, so nothing like Protect/Earthquake in one turn. Also, Mega Kangaskhan will get a boost in stats like all the other Mega Evolutions.

Speaking of starters, I'm glad there's going to be a Torchic event. I don't really like any of the starters this time around. I'll end up going with Fennekin though because I always pick fire.

This event will make it easier to complete the Hoenn starter trio if they decide to give you one of them one at some point in the game.

I always pick my starters based purely on looks. Except the Kanto ones. For some reason, I always picked Squirtle, even though Bulbasaur is my favorite.
