Procrastination from homework led me to thinking about this. Yay procrastination!!
So, list who you think are the top 5 strongest characters in the series so far. You can explain why if you'd like, but I don't think these will need much explanation.
Here's mine:
1. Saiga
2. Elder
3. Hongo
4. Akisame
5. Sakaki/Kensei
Thinking of who I thought was fifth was harder than I expected.. So hard, I couldn't decide. :<

Why'd you rank Hongo as three and then not put Junazad on the list? Junazad ripped Hongo apart.

Junazad ripped Hongo apart, but didn't kill him. I put him that high, past that, because Elder also had trouble with Junazad. This puts Hongo just below Elder on strength.
Might as well go down the list as to why Junazad didn't make it.
I think Akisame could beat Junazad. I think he's the strongest master at Ryozanpaku, minus Elder also, and has a chance to end up stronger than Elder.
I don't buy it when Sakaki said Junazad could kill him. Simple as that.
As for Kensei, don't really have a reasoning for that. I just feel as if he is. Never seen anything to disprove it, either that or I'm selectively forgetting.

I think all master that teach kenichi most likely control the top 5 purely due to plot protection =p.

I think Mikumo is strong, no doubt about that. She's old. All old people in hsdk are wildly strong.
I don't think she could beat Sakaki, though. The only reason she'd beat Kensei is because of him being distracted.
I think she's the strongest girl in the series, just not in the top 5.

..Jenny? Hmm, I didn't think of her as a martial artist fighter, just a girl who's skilled in firearms.

I'm gonna go with Chikage in a fight. Rimi is faster and stronger, but Chikage's style is to hurt you the instant you touch her.
