Here's another video.

I don't have final sales data for volume 3 yet.

There is going to be a New Years postcard, You get it the same way as the Christmas card.

Solution for riddle number 4 is the last name of one of Eito's room mates.

I realized that Araragi's design is based on of his old character's from the HSDK Gaiden stories. I believe it's the one with the child who could make supernatural things appear whenever she speaks. The mc of that gaiden was also the basis for Tokiwa Yasaka, I believe.

This Araragi design is much cooler though.

You are right. He bought a tie, combed his hair and quit smoking.

That means we have not-Kenichi/Haruka (Eito), not-Shigure (Ayame), not-Siegfried (Samael), and not-Kazuoki's father (Araragi). Thinking about it, doesn't agent Lady kind of look like Emilie from Tokiwa Kitareri? And Emilie kind of looks like Rachel.

I'm not sure yet, because the images are too blurry and small, but going by the last video that was uploaded, we might possibly get a Hongô lookalike in the future. The coat and the long hair fit, but I can't see any pointy ears, sunglasses or scar.

Eito's room-mate who has refused to tell Eito his name until now. He's been around since chapter 1.

The story of his "real" name is a bit complicated and there's a reason why he decided to be nameless.

There's also this one girl in the background in that bathing that looks like a brunette Shigure. At least from behind. I kinda hope it's Kenichi and Miu's daughter. Or maybe even Shigure's...

And yes, Agent Lady reminds me of Emilie and Rachel.

Iceman sort of resembles a fusion between Loki and a disguised Saiga. Or maybe Tanaka (rip).

Noname is a shorter haired Natsu.

The ninja is basically a manlier Hayato Furinji (Gaiden of course) and Kanata Kusanagi.

That mad scientist is like a shorter wavy haired Elder.

Nohara(?) is like a hate child of Berserker and Niijima.

Wonder who else is there.

What did noname whisper into Eito's ear?

Nacchi

Matsuena really loves recycling old designs.

Thanks for that mental image.

Noname finally decided to tell Eito his name - while the latter was sleeping.

Looks like this guy is Kano Sho reincarnation or maybe even clone?

it's so sad. I want to know so much what happened next in Kenichi. I still do not understand why his boss asked to rush manga despite it selling well. This manga is sold three times or even four less than kenichi.I don't want to blame Matsuena, but why did not Matsuena fight for his manga and his fans, he had to convince his boss that it was impossible to just rush the manga that was 12 years old, but he rushed that like that was nothing.

Nacchi

He does looks more like Shô than like Natsu, doesn't he.

But I have to disagree with your last paragraph. Matsuena did refuse to end it at first, but in the end he had to give in. Originally he was told to end the story within 60 volumes, but he managed to convince his publishers to let him draw another volume. That's how we got the 61st volume. Imagine how much more the ending would have been rushed if it hadn't been for that one extra volume. However, while he got those extra pages for Kenichi, he was not allowed to delay the release of Tokiwa Kitareri, so he had to draw two series at the same time. Drawing Kenichi and Tokiwa at once must have been hell, because both series had longer chapters at that time, because one was ending and the other one was starting, and there were many color illustrations.

The poor man and his team really did what they could. But when the editor in chief says a manga has to end then it has to end. Fortunately that editor lost his job eventually. It would have been better if Shogakukan had never hired that guy.

Not much to tell, because Shounen Sunday takes a break this week and there's no new chapter.

Volume 3 sold about 31,620 copies within the first 4 weeks. That's a tiny little bit better than volume 2 (30,703).

Mr. Matsuena went to Shogakukan's Year-end party and some lucky guy got a signed illustration from him.

physical copies?

Nacchi

Yes, only physical copies. Unfortunately I haven't found any source for digital sales so far.

The total would be actually 31,620 + the sales from stores that don't report their numbers + sales from days when the volumes dropped out of the top 500, but still sold a few copies + digital sales.

New chapter: Nakano Heigh is weird and they have a mysterious guy in their basement who assaults students. He haunts the halls were they keep the ties of all agents who have died. Eito's father's tie is there as well.

Random thought, but I wonder why Matsuena decided to give all three of them a scar/permanent injury under their left eye.

Like Kishimoto mustache. Most likely the distinctive feature of the character.
ps There is an interesting poster with all the main characters of Matsuena, but I did not find a good quality.

Not only that, why do they all have brown hair? And why does Eito look remarkably like the mc from his prized disciple's webmanga?
