Some more news. Kimi wa 008 volume 1 has an estimated print run of about 80-90k copies.
It was #53 in Shoseki's weekly ranking. Keep in mind that it went on sale an a Friday and had only 3 days to contribute to its ranking.
There aren't any exact numbers, but then manga ranked #50 sold 12600 copies and #100 sold 8250 copies. I think it's safe to assume that 008 sold 10.000+ copies within 3 days.

[EDIT] Today's chapter 13 comes with a very pretty color page. You can buy the digital version of Shonen Sunday easily on Ebook Japan. You can actually see it when you click the reading sample button on that page. It's the blue one that says 立ち読み.
I've seen other people write that they get their digital version from Webry, respectively Webry's app, but I haven't tried then yet an cannot say whether they accept foreign credit cards and google pay accounts or not.
