I usually buy from Ebook Japan. Easy to use, you can subscribe to ongoing series, no region restriction, and they accept foreign credit cards. honto is easy to use as well, but I don't like their reader. It's a bulky piece of crap. Then there are bookwalker and rakuten books, but I think both require a Japanese IP if you want to buy Sunday manga.

These bonus illustrations come printed in postcards size when you buy the first print edition from Toranoana, animate, or Gamers. As they don't ship anywhere besides Japan you will need either a proxy buyer or a forwarding service. These bonuses sell out pretty fast. The one from Gamers might already be gone, at least they removed any notice of the bonus illustration.

The other possibility would be taking the sample images and photoshopping that text away, if you're good at photoshop or know someone who is.

There are finally some news regarding Matsuena's new work. The original announcement said it would start in winter, but according to some people who get Shonen Sunday early it has been delayed to spring.

Damn. There goes that, then.

Mr. Matsuena's staff tweeted that toranoana's bonus is pretty much sold out as will with only a few copies in their physical store remaining. The website itself doesn't list it as sold out yet, but maybe it doesn't get updated on weekends. animate had some stock left when they tweeted 6 hours ago.

Good news: They uploaded the New Year's special illustrations that were previously exclusive to MangaOne to Wazadepa.

Warning, NSFW

A small glance at his new work.

Tensou Kidou 20 Part 1 is out. Next update: Feb. 5.

And they released the promised bonus image featuring Shigure('s T&A) and the rest of Ryôzanpaku minus Apachai and Tôchûmaru.

I hope that a better quality version gets uploaded to Wazadepa. That MangaOne app is made for mobile users and their image quality is awful.

TKA 21-1 (available until 2018-03-19)
Next update: March 5th

If you liked the new (half of a) chapter you can upvote it by clicking that big pink button at the bottom. Upvoting will open a comment box, but you don't have to write a comment. Just dismiss the popup.

In a recent tweet Mr. Matsuena's staff promoted this manga by Hideki Oku.
They said that Mr. Oku is the saviour of Matsuena Studios, who came to rescue them when they were in trouble. They didn't elaborate what kind of trouble it was.

The Ryôzanpaku bonus art was uploaded to Wazadepa & Twitter.

Mr. Matsuena even edited it a bit an added Apachai, who was left out in the mangaone version. Officially, he was diving in the first version.

Random trivia: Apachai's lung capacity allows him to stay underwater for about one day. (Source)

Tôchûmaru isn't in the picture, because he took this photo.

Tensou Kidou chapter 21 part 2 (available until March 19)
The current events make me wonder how long this manga is going to continue. Mr. Matsuda could possible end it after this arc, but he could also continue. I just hope it doesn't end with "Rocks fall. Everyone dies".

It looks like we finally have a somewhat official romanization of アルヴァドリング: Arvadling.
At least that's how the author spelled it on Kilhinea's swimsuit in the newest bonus illustration.

To continue my thoughts about Tensou Kidou's possible ending in the near future: I've been counting pages and chapters and, going by the previous volumes, volume 4 should contain chapters 18-23. If there aren't any breaks (national holidays etc.) chapter 23 part 2 will go online on April 30. Matsuda might be able to cut things short and end this story in those two chapters (~64 pages), although I hope it's not ending yet. If he has to end it now we might not get a happy ending.

There are a few things that point towards an early end. I have seen a few Japanese comments who speculated that the manga might get axed. Volume 3 sold better than volume 2, but worse than volume 1 despite the massive advertisement campaign by Mr. Matsuena and his publisher. (as far as I can tell. I cannot find any exact sales data) Speaking of Mr Matsuena, I think he has not drawn any promo illustrations since 008 started. All weekly bonus art on MangaOne was done by Matsuda recently. Another point is that volume 3 hasn't gotten an ebook release yet, 2 months after the paper edition, while volumes 1 and 2 had a same day release for both versions.

We will see what happens when the series reaches chapter 23. I would love to see this manga go on for a bit longer.

I think that Tensou Kidou volume 4 and Kimi wa 008 volume 1 are going to be published on the same day or only a few days apart either mid-May or mid-June. I am leaning more towards May. The manga is already at 133 pages, after three more regular chapters (each ~18 pages) there will be enough material for the first volume. Furthermore, another manga that started one week before 008 had volume 1 announced for May 18 and Sunday tends to release their series in batches.

My worst fears came true and Tensô Kidô is going to end on April 30.

The latest update, chapter 23, can be found here.

Volume 4 has not been announced yet, but the ebook for volume 3 is finally available.
EBJ: V1, V2, V3.
honto: V1, V2, V3.

If you prefer something printed on paper:
honto: V1, V2, V3
CDJ: V1, V2, V3.
CDJapan's title transcriptions are usually on point, but they screwed up with this manga. Nevertheless they are trustworthy.

It is over. Today was the last time Tensō Kidō Arvadling was updated and chapter 23 is the final chapter.
Chapter 23 part 1
Chapter 23 part 2

I have no idea when/if those chapter expire, so read it while you can. I hope Yawaspi doesn't completely remove the main pages of finished works like Websunday does.

Volume 4 has been announced for June 12, 2018.
Amazon, honto, CDJ doesn't have it listed, yet.

The final volume of Tensou Kidou went on sale today - both in print and digital.
I hope Mr Matsuda gets to draw a new serialization soon, since I really enjoyed this manga.

The following probaby won't affect anyone here, but I'll still mention it:

When the manga went up for pre-order they announced special bonus illustrations for Toranoana, Gamers and Animate. Come today the official twitter account suddenly announced that animate won't issue the special illustration after all and apologizes for the inconvenience. The animate version was removed from Wazapeda and it looks like both Matsueda and Matsuena's staff deleted all tweets that show the animate version. I wonder what happened here. Why won't the store issue an illustration when the author has already prepared one for them?

And something funny appears to be going on at toranoana. They recently renewed they webstore and now all bonuses have a separate listing and it looks as if you have to place an separate order for the bonus when you order an item. Before it would show the bonus on the regular item page and you'd get it automatically. People are confused whether they really have to place an extra order or if it still works like before. Matsuena's staff has sent an inquiry and a few readers said they'll go the Toranoana's physical stores to check the situation. We'll see what happens.

Japanese web stores are truly special.

I think the Kenichi manga should definitely be licensed tbh!
