The tides are finally turning. Looks like we could see one big showdown eventually, now that the balance has shifted. Since we haven't seen Saiga with a surprised look on his face, I'm assuming he knew this was a possibility; he could have either wanted it to happen, or he could had planned on the possibility of losing a few masters anyway. Between whatever Saiga, and Kajima's other master, Senzui have planned, the battle should be far from over.

It's nice to see that some masters accept the will of their disciples.
It shows that it's not like 'I teach him, he learns from me. That's all'. But they are kinda attached do their disciples. Maybe except the ones like Jenazad.
This chapter almost made me cry, cause I thought Akisame is gonna die, but thank God he didn't. That was nice Kagerou didn't die. Yup, and died after that. XD
It was a beautiful death, I think. (Just like the others of his 'deathes') He died for them, only to help them. I like when characters die like this. I mean I don't like deaths of characters. XD Just saying I like when they sacrifice their own lives and die in a way they wanted too.
ok, so whato do you think? Which master is gonna be next after Sougetsu? :D
Oh, and yomi, kick their stupid ass! Yup, I don't like the armed ones.

Sai Kagerous PUNCH almost decapitated Seitaro and broke his sunglasses! and this was after getting trashed by Mildred,Kushinada and getting sucker stabbed by Seitaro!

Oh and him saying "The voice of that weird old guy revived me" that was awesome :)

It was very heart warming seeing the flashback of Sai when he found those birds and nurtured the one that was hurt which makes his death much sadder. But it did remind me of when he killed Shigures bird and I guess that was his way of changing his ways.

Btw, I noticed that Sougetsu Ma, Akira Hongo and Ogata Isshinsai were the 3 masters that didn't jump in the beginning of the fight and when Shiba bailed on Ryo masters, Ogata pretty much became an observer of the fight and so Im hoping he too says screw it and end up fighting yomi since he only perfers to kill martial artist with killing intent.

Sorry for double comment but I can't edit, that being said, I noticed that the snake in Sais flashback that ate the birds were representing him and the sins he commited as a satsujinken and he wants to save not just the Katsujinken but the Honor and fairness that Satsujinkens have like Hongo,Ogata and Sougetsu Ma!

Also when I said Ogata should turn againts Yomi I meant yami masters that was a misspelling. This was one of the BEST chapters in this entire manga and I am suprised no one is discussing it!

This was symbolic in so many ways like how the snake was representing Kagerous old self or how me and Citizen_lion discussed weapon masters unarmed abilities. Maaaan what a great chapter and ofcourse Ogata is my BOY and I want him to pull a Loki and introduces his own faction of masters and with Senzui master, Saiga and Ganosuke still in the picture, we will have a Satsujinken internal WAR going on!

People were saying this manga was coming to an end, I assured people that I thought Bleach had more reason to come to a conclusion after Aizens defeat but Bleach is still going strong and so can HSDK and we have yet to see so many many many many awesome things like Siegfried going on a journey and getting Mycroft to become a katsujinken and his NEW Master!

Also we have to see Elder Wongs blackdragon faction,Kensei Mas wife, the fate of Shaolin Kungfu and the whole entire Chinese Martial Arts storylines.

Yup no doubt, too many things are going on in this manga for it to end right now. Like if Michael Schtilvay has survived, whats next for Hongo, Saigas reunion with Miu,Ganosukes next move and Senzui Bean masters intentions....

Sai looks kinda dead. :o

It's likely that Saiga had planned for this. His actions had always been very cryptic, almost like he wants to bring together all the chaos agents into one place, so that they can all destroy themselves.

There are many things not shown yet in HSDK indeed, like Ogata mentioned, so that makes Saiga's true intention even more strange, because his hands might have been tied by the Kuremisago (Senzui's faction), which led to this roundabout plot.

Hongo and Sougetsu already played their cards, so I think Ogata might be up to something next too. Ogata is also certainly capable of acting on the side of good, because he is really just inflexible and fanatical in his pursuit of martial arts (and became a cold blooded killer sometimes because of it, which is really a problem (seriously you can't figure out some less ridiculous ways to train than to kill someone each time?!)), but otherwise a pretty nice guy that had saved people for no apparent gains a number of times too.

Sai looks kinda dead. :o

I think he's been ripped apart by kushinada, but the scan isn't clear.

that was amazing!!!!

I think he's been ripped apart by kushinada, but the scan isn't clear.

Nah, I think it's just the art style being confusing and showing blood all over. Kushinada could not possibly have the sheer strength to rip Kagerou apart, and besides it's not even her style to do something like that. But perhaps she redirected his hoe movements so that it split his own body up. Now THAT would be a new degree of sheer evil.

Dammit, Jenazad, one of my favorite masters (due to his tragic past, literally a victim of PTSD but with super powers), why are you so stupid!? Just fight Kushinada if you really wanted a thrill that badly. She's also a legendary master, and with a completely different style, which would be even more of a challenge than fighting the Elder who is similar in style and power to you in so many ways.

Mangastream is out and I see a limb in the air. If she did redirect his hoe that would a whole new level, I wonder how their jujitsu stacks up againts siegfried's style?

Hmm, actually, I think we can confirmed that she did redirect the hoe against Kagerou. In the same page where Kagerou punched Raigou, he picked up his hoe above his head, and ki was coming out of it, so we could see that he is about to attack with his hoe. The flashback was in Kagerou's head, so the truth is the actual time spent in panel 11, 12, 13 is actually only his saying a few sentences before attacking, not an actual pause in the battle.

Also I just remember that Japanese speech is a lot faster than English (from anime voice acting, at least ;)). Those lines that Kagerou said might have just been about 5 second.

So it's not that Kushinada rushed in and somehow by brute force tore his body apart. She stood right in front of Kagerou all along (she swayed to the side to let Raigou through for the surprised attack after all, so she was just one step behind Raigou in panel 10), with Kagerou heaving the hoe above his head about to attack.

Btw, what did you think about Kagerous punch!?? Its crazy since we have been discussing an unarmed master that defeated sai going up againts all yomis and then we get Sai Kagerou punching out a grand master that seems like second in command of the Hachiou Blades!

Also, I LOVED how Berserker told Hyuugo to "Worry about your own head"  This was an excellent chapter and it moved me man in so many ways and kind of cool to see Kagerous falcon punch after discussing a weaponless Shigure topic.

That was awesome even raigou's shades were broken by the punch ( I'm imagining the ippo counter commentator shouting cross counter! And the crowd goes wild, love that anime) but he wasn't knocked out in the next page he was back in a stance. This might be because unlike other weapon masters he trained in unarmed techniques as well so he isn't as fragile as the typical master, or maybe I just like his character :P .

I like Seitaro too! He seems like a humble master, funny that you mentioned Ippo since Sais punch was similar to Takamuras punch that destroyed Bryan Hawk!

Also I think your right, Seitaro was noted as a master who rarely relies on his sword and only uses it againts strong opponents according to the guy he was with at the museum many many chapters ago.

Sougetsu broke his gourd; it's about to go down. And the teamwork of Berserker and Hermit is awesome! And Hermit's words to his terrible master were touching.
I think they'll have a flashback in an upcoming chapter, or be the main focus.

I think so too. Sougetsu finally turned, and in a really awesome fashion. Kagerou went out also in a really awesome fashion. The awesome quota of this manga is finally filling up again.

Yes, funny how Berserker and Hermit can coordinate well as a pair now. I think Sougetsu turned because he saw a parallel between his own life and Hermit's as well.

Also, the Mangastream version made it appear clearer that Kagerou was about to do a suicide attack. Ma even screamed "Don't do it"

Yeah, I'm starting to read their version more than mangareader. The wiki of Natsu states that his real reason for joining Yami is to save Sougetsu. I wonder if that's really the case.

Chikage seems to be second in command of unarmed Yomi, and Kōkin is just...Kōkin. If only Laugh teams up with Siegfried and Rachel partnered up with Hermit.

Most random thing that can happen right now is the return of Loki and Odin and the rebirth of Ragnorak out of nowhere. Most of the eight fist areaready there.

That is possible. There is really no reason for Natsu to be in Yami/Yomi. He is already a student of Sougetsu, and if he isn't a part of Yomi, it's not like Sougetsu would stop teaching him, when he had been teaching him on and off since he was a kid (for a large amount of alcohol, which he drank all in one go).

Lugh and Sieg would be an interesting and frightening combo, and could make for some really strange combo attacks.

Chikage, I don't think she's the second in command or anything, it's just that she initiated this first, and everyone actually already on the verge of doing the same thing.

I think when Kenichi's journey as a disciple come to an end will be the end of the manga, and the start of a new one : Strongest in History or History's Strongest/Mightiest. Damn I wish there was a way to contact Syun. Has he ever came to the U.S. before?
Back to Sogestsu and Hermit, I predict a simultaneous Kyousa from the two. And a small flashback sung by Siegfried of the SA witnessing that deadly move, and some fear instilled in Yomi members for his feat of taking down a master class fighter. Looking back at its debut, Hermit had enough force to cause Fortuna to double over.
That's true LughxSieg BROTP... If you can't tell, I'm on mobile.
Why did Siegfried join Ragnorak, anyways?
