HSDK Battle 582 Released

Wow...

 

Still holding out hope it could continue in a sort of new series, maybe with a time skip or something. And in maybe a Senin series too. But it might just be me in denial/wishful thinking...

 

If this is truly the end, its been a good series.

I wonder why he would end it here?

I cried a little on the inside when I saw its the end....

Well, we'll see what kind of ending it gets. If it's a "This is where they are now" kind of endings set in the future, then I wouldn't have too much faith in a new series.

 

It's so odd, though. I feel this came out of nowhere. It feels like the ending of an arc, not the ending of the manga.

I knew Matsuena wouldn't let the Elder die like that, it was waaayyy to obvious. You can't get to that level just to be killed by a mere explosion. With the bad guys defeated, disaster averted and the Furinji family reunited it seems HSDK comes to an end, but hopefully (fingers crossed) there's some sort of continuation or spin-off.

Well the article thing that erdbeerkeks posted said that the last one would have info on the next big release. Mybe he's taking a break and rebuilding the series. Maybe a new main char in the same universe.

Well let me just say that after the original baki ended, there has been many sequels afterwards like new grappler baki,song of ogre and the new Baki-Dou!

Also according to the indian master, it seems like some of the disciples have become a master themselves or something!


So is it safe to say that Ryuto,Berserker and Tanimoto can beat a weaponless Shigure themselves at this point???

Oh I see, btw there was one weapon masters missing!

During the chapter, darkness moves forward, we saw Rin giving orders to five weapon masters, two of them fought Akisame/Sakaki who were from France/Germany and then these two that fought the disciples were from india/china which means one weapon master got away...Dun dun dun!

I like how Loki was the only Ragnarok member to be completely forgotten about.

Well if kenichi has breached the territory of the masters. Makes sense for iit to end but also. Its time to see a continuation of a master kenichi and the future masters of Ryozanpaku

Well its because he was a backstabber who tried to destroy the original Ragnarok, so in a way him not being part of this gives authenticity to the real Ragnarok.

I know man, I am wondering if this manga has a ghost element to it due to the fact that when Tanaka got killed by Kensei, both Nijimma and Renka saw a ghost of Tanaka and his wife holding the hands of their child and walking away happily together.

Seeing Tochimaru and Legendary Master Fox, I am beginning to believe that there are supernatural/fictional nature to it and its not just over the top martial artist type manga.

But  yeah I wasen't sure if Senzui was answering or if Senzuis "yeah but I seem to have lost track of that" was echoed for the fans only...

It was a good run, and a glorious end. The disciples have all become experts, almost masters. Ken is probably low master. All those people who predicted that the manga would end when Ken touches masterdom were completely correct.

 

Interestingly enough, among the disciple group the one that is right after Ken in strenth is actually... Renka! Holy crap, she was probably 50% contribution in pulling off a clear, clean win against a weapon master, and not a garbage one either. Takeda probably contributed 30% to that win and 20% from Freya.

 

Oh yea @Ogata, I think this chapter is the confirmation that you need for Yomi vs. weaponless Shigure. Weaponless Shigure = normal weapon master with weapon of choice. And the disciples just beat two of them, with only 3 vs 1 odds each. The whole of Yomi together would now be strong enough to pull off at least 50/50 or even 60/40 winning odds against weaponless Shigure now.

 

And Ma Kensei confirmed to be legendary too. He just always holds back Breaking the armour of one's heart, and all that.

 

The Elder is too awesome. For the first time I truly feel that the Elder is awesome, and deserves every accolade bestowed on him. So the elder going all out is clearly above every other characters in the story including other legendaries.

I was SHOCKED man!!! I was convinced that the whole weapon masters vs yomi/ragnarok was gonna end like kenichi/ryuto vs Ogata and what I mean is, I thought they were gonna impress the weapon masters until Diego/Alexander came in like Tanaka did. I had ZERO faith in them being able to beat two weapon masters who are at the same level as Sherman Camus and Casper who both gave Akisame/Sakaki a decent fight.

I have no doubt if ALL yomis were to fight againts a guy like Rin Tachibana, they could probably beat someone at his level even if he has a weapon! I guess the Yomis/Ragnarok/Shinpaku disciples have digivolved to expert/masters!

I agree, on your assesment as well! I am wondering if Shigure unarmed punches and kicks would be effected by Kajimas Shinogadachi move or her having a normal master body would be able to endure it and not be effected by his technique???


P.S: Please Please Please bring on the chinese martial arts arc!!! I want to know more about Kensei Mas family and Boss Wong who runs the shanghai branch of the black tiger white dragon alliance!!!

We need like a side story that explores that part of the manga!

@Ogata I don't think shinogidachi would hurt a master cause ki holding, unless if say somebody with ki holding uses it becomes more effective...

To use it you need Ki holding, because it manipulates the opponents ki.

No doubt man, remember when Shigure had her own side-story/Gaiden!!?? It involved her teaching an american girl and later that girl made a cameo apearence when Berserker was chasing Nijimma around the staircases. I forgot what her name was...

We can have a mini-series/Gaiden called the Histories Douchiest Master Michael aka HDMM!

No doubt, even though Baki the grappler has had many sequels, they ALSO have done Gaidens as well as a sequel!!!

Let the author go on a vacation, have fun with IRL busty women, have his creativity restored and then...Get back to kickass story telling!!!

 

Dear god this is sad, but everything comes to an end. I really hope the author will make a second series about master level kenichi but who knows. I also hope in last chapter it will tell us if there will be a second series or not. Honestly, I just hope the series has a good ending that I can't really argue with like yu yu hakusho's ending. But about a china arc or spin off that could be a high possiblity due to the many unanswered questions; like what does kensei's wife and other children look like? I also want to know if a possible new anime is going to come about since the manga is about over. And has anyone noticed a lot of mangas are coming to there ends or have ended? Like that basketball one is over, beelzebub ended, naruto is about to end, sun-ken rock is on it's last arc, bleach is in it's last arc, and HSDK ending what is happening? Anyways those who think the disciple's of yomi or the shinpaku could beat a weapon less shigure I highly doubt that because her speed is greater than all of them. When she was a kid she was able to chase a bird like it was nothing, now being grown up he speed is probably increased exponentially. Also, she can kinda use anything as a weapon, like when she used her hair band to fight that one guy in the hot springs, so a weapon less shigure is kinda impossible.
