@citizen_lion I've been rereading some chapters and I noticed on the bottom left corner of this page readms.com/r/hsdk/568/2367/11 Sai's hoe seems to be covered in ki, or could it be just a stylistic thing?

Having a weapon doesn't necessarily reduce the effect that ki has on the weapon. The application of ki on said weapon would be different than a fist due to it being more deadly. That fear factor is similar to ki in the sense that they both rely on instinct, and one could argue with how ki seems to be explained that we've grown more attuned to this type of danger because its easy for us to imagine. It seems you have to open your senses that lie dormant, which would be ki, kinda like an eleventh sense.

My whole original question was whether or not ki has an effect on weapons... but on dormant instincts I remember Sakaki saying that martial arts reawekens them, only that was sensing killig intent.

My answer to your question was "I think so, but its used diffrently".
